Apologies for not getting off the mark with this sooner, but at least it wasn't an hour before the event this time!

The next meet will be our annual WinterWonderlandStuck event!

This is a cosplay meet, so please feel free to come along dressed as your favourite characters in the most gaudy of Christmas attire imaginable. If you don't want to cosplay that's also fine! Just come along and have a really lovely time with us!

We're meeting at VC, on Saturday, 20th December, at 12:30pm. If this is your first meet, VC (the Vriska Circuit as it's known) is our name for the flat plaza above the Princes Mall, next to the stairs into Waverley Station. Just look for the homestuck cosplay!

Please remember that while this is a cosplay meet, it is also in the middle of december. It is going to be cold, and it may even rain, so please remember to wrap up warm and be prepared for inclement weather!

Hey everyone, Mod K here!

First off, apologies. I'm really really sorry that the blog has been inactive over the past [INSERT TIME HERE], this was caused by a lack of foresight on my part, plus a relatively high level of burying-head-in-sand, and a sprinkle of running-from-responsibilities.

I'm back in the seat now, and there will be meets properly back up and running with ACTUAL timescales and such, letting you all know what our plans are and with lots of fun stuff planned for the festive period!

Due to aforementioned shirking of responsibilities, it'd only now (1 hour beforehand at the time of posting) that I've had the chance to make a post about a meet that's being held today (08/11/14), to celebrate dara's birthday! Come along, VC, 12:30pm, if you can! There are plans to go to the Museum today too!!

Once again I can only apologise for being a loser nerd and dropping the ball on this one. I can only hope that I can do better in the future.

Aradia - She died in 1907 She was the second daughter of an unwed mother(their who father left shortly after Aradia’s birth) refused to give her daughters away and tried working for a rich man as a maid, leaving her children to their own devices during the day. When she was 14, Aradia went exploring in a nearby cave(something she often did then) when the cave collapsed, crushing her.

Eridan & Feferi - Eridan and Feferi were two very rich friends in 1942, and lived in neighboring houses on Oahu, Hawaii. On December 7, shortly after the bombing, Feferi, her sister, and her mother had joined Eridan and his family in their bomb shelter, when Feferi and Eridan had left, for some stupid reason. An unexploded anti-aircraft shell had landed in their area, and was set off, managing to injure the two children and their families(the children getting the worst of it). The two families then left Oahu and later arrived in Hussie Creek, living on 413 St. until the two children later died of infection.

Equius - Equius was a young man in the 50’s, dying in 1958. He was part of a very well-off family, and his father ran a very successful mechanics place, where both Equius and his older brother worked part-time. Equius died in a fire that was started in the car shop, set by several drunk men who quarrelled with their father.

Terezi & Vriska - Terezi and Vriska both died in 1965, in a small shop explosion. The two were ‘partners in crime’ when they could stand each-other, known as the “Scourge Sisters” by many friends and acquaintances. One day, they were causing trouble in a shop, poking their noses where they probably shouldn’t have been) when one of them accidently set off a small explosion, killing both instantly.

Nepeta & Gamzee - Both died in 1976 These two knew each-other because of their older sister(Nepeta’s) and brother(Gamzee’s) were their actual guardians, and lived together, smoking pot and selling antiques. Nepeta and Gamzee were fairly good friends, and got along well, but weren’t very close. They both died when a robber sneaked into the shop one night(they all lived in an apartment above the shop) and killed the two of them, their older siblings out with friends.

Sollux - Sollux lived in the 80’s and despite his lower class and lack of money, was very interested in computers and always had a dream to own one. When the CD-ROM was invented, he was even more interested. By the time he was thirteen, he hoped to become a computer programmer, and tried to find every booklet-type thing he could to read up on it. He died at 15 by food poisoning.

Kanaya - Died in 1991. Kanaya had dreams of being a famous fashion designer, already possessing great talent for her designs. Her mother was gone often, leaving her and her sister with their grandmother, who was a very independant woman. Kanaya died when a rumor had gotten out that she liked girls(it was actually true, not that it matters) and others in her high school had cornered her after school, beating her, then later gagging her(stuffing a jawbreaker in her mouth and tying a length of cloth around her mouth to stop her from spitting it out), choking on the jawbreaker.

Tavros - He died in 1999, a true “90’s kid”. He was extremely interested in a popular card game called “Fiduspawn”(an interest that carried on into his “next life”), He was first in a car accident that didn’t actually kill him, only rendering him paralyzed from the waist down, then later being killed in a car accident, having gotten hit by a skidding car, trying to cross the street.

Karkat - Died in 2006 due to AML leukemia at the age of 14, and was diagnosed in 2000. His father was a preacher, and his mother left when he was four. He lived on 413 St. until he was diagnosed, then again for his last few months. He died quietly in his home, his father and older brother next to him, his brother quiet for once, having nothing to say.

  And the four Beta kids could be like what the Kanker sisters were, the demon-born children who guarded the area and made sure they didn't leave?
