Gotta love when news media, in this case USA Today, editorializes a photo to make it seem worse, but still show the photo so you know they are full of shit.
"Clutches"?
Yep. He sure looks like he is holding that phone tightly or eagerly to me. /s

Just sayinâ
Not wanting to throw shade at Bluey but I hope nobodyâs first episode of Bluey is S3E28 âStoriesâ.
Plus Lin-Manuel Miranda as a talking horse named Major Tom.
SERIOTH EATS SHIT
Recently, in an attempt to ambush @greywizard-reporter-jim, councilmember Serioth got beat up on by some cool skeletons. Jim has been researching Necromancy and discovered the way to move past the artifically enforced division of "fields of magic". Jim used this knowledge to escape Serioth and win the day. Suck it Serioth.
Why r people asking about rpf?? R people being weird? I just found out that people genuinely ship ackles and Collins which in itself is weird. R people actively going out and doing more than that????
oh, anon. you sweet summer child.Â
to answer all of your questions: yes.
the whole cockles (collins/ackles) thing is something i really just donât want to touch on this blog (there are plenty of places to find out about it if you look). jensen and misha have both acknowledged and played into it (again incredibly easy to find), so the lines can get a bit blurred for some fans. this leads to rude or just awkward interactions between fans and actors that otherwise could be easily avoidable.Â
to people who are new to this kind of fandom and havenât gotten the talk yet:
Do Not Engage Actors In Real Person Fiction/Real Person ShippingÂ
there are no exceptions. i know you think itâs funny or harmless, but these are human beings with their own lives. how would you feel if a stranger came up to you and started making jokes about how you and one of your friends were definitely sleeping together? it sucks. or worse, if a stranger came up to you and started making jokes about how you and your significant other act in private? itâs uncomfortable and unnecessary.Â
i donât really care if you think rpf in itself is okay or not. you as a person should be able to summon the empathy needed to recognize that celebrities are human beings, and what you say to them has an impact. thatâs it.Â
i know the majority of rps understand this and are very respectful and self policing, and i am proud of them. this is not about you, have a lovely day.

Sometimes I think I really should dust off my wikia account and go be a contributor on the RvB wiki because. god.

The whole âniche memeâ trend really bothers me when:
Itâs poorly shrouded bullying.
Itâs the rumination of negativity and digitally bottling up anger in a public place.
Itâs a refusal to grow due to what the owners think is âvalidationâ when in reality itâs just an overabundance of padding keeping them from thinking critically about their actions and what matters to them.
Itâs looking for âvalidationâ instead of trying to be productive because itâs easier and more comfortable to get attention than to work hard and privately get through problems and make personal strides.
Itâs focusing on micro-bubbles of social change instead of actually giving a shit about the world and engaging with the vote, engaging with the government, engaging with the system to initiate change.
Itâs a focus on tearing each other down and calling it venting or describing when itâs clearly unnecessary or only cause for more of your own misery.
Itâs a very negative trend covered in a shroud of pretty colors.
To anyone running one of these blogs or profiles: think critically before you speak. Do you want your abuse to own you? Do you want your anger to own you? Why are you expected to be the warning sign for the people that hurt you? Grow, donât think youâre justified in being a tyrant just because someone hurt you.
'If you flag or penalise some results, you effectively censor them'. You donât have to delete something to make it disappear. When I raised this point at the Workshop on Digital Misinformation in April this year, it was met with a comment about this approach not being 'true censorship' because it doesnât intentionally censor a particular group or ideology. The circumstances didnât allow for a meaningful discussion at the time so I couldnât respond (I was just an audience member asking a question after a presentation), but the technical definitions of censorship are largely unhelpful to the communities who feel like their voices are being suppressed by incredibly powerful multi-national companies who act as gate-keepers to all information on the Internet.
