With the Big Big Re-Run this week, and the Raiders Direct, themed Splatfest, and the actual game itself all on the horizon, now feels like as good a time as any to mention that I have a discord server! It's pretty small and calm, and we like to keep it that way, but it's been like 2+ years since I last posted about it so I figure it's time to do another interest check. If you'd like a little community to hang out in and talk about Splatoon, or find people to play with, feel free to DM me for an invite!

also quick off-topic weekend post before I go to bed: I've been really enjoying The Mountain, the new Gorillaz album that released like a week ago. Really cool mix of the band's synth-y hip-hop sound with traditional Indian instruments as the vocals ruminate on life, death, grief, and rebirth. Potentially my new favourite Gorillaz album and I don't say that lightly because Plastic Beach has been my favourite since it released in 2010.
