The concept of separating the art from the artist is very complex and I haven't thought about it enough to fully comprehend it.

There are thousands of examples I don't think I need to start listing.

I know I said that "I can't agree with any adult who likes what jkr has written" and it was honestly half joking.

BUT at the same time if you're not aware of the situation with JKR that's been going on for years its not my problem.

you’re an idol and toji’s your manager.

he’s quite notorious for being a shit manager, but all those rumours were squashed when he began to work with you intensively. sure, he was a no-nonsense type of manager (not as fervid as fellow idol yuuji’s manager, nanami kento-san, though) but he does his job really well. you can trust him with your hectic life and he will help you get through your days with little stress as possible.

but he’s hot. genuinely hot. so no wonder your fans begin noticing him too. it started off small, just sprinkles of “[y/n]’s manager kinda look fine” comments under paparazzi pictures of you. it was harmless. cute. you love his rising popularity, especially as you so totally agree with what is said about toji because, yeah, fushiguro toji-san is incredibly good-looking.

it spiralled when a video of him protecting you from an overzealous “fan” went viral. the fan was running full speed towards you when toji, big and wide and tall toji, pulled you behind him and intercepted the impact. the guards were quick to take the fan away after that, but the one taking the video kept their camera focused on you and toji instead of following the ongoing commotion caused by the fan.

toji, kind and gentle and protective toji, was making sure you were okay. he was checking up on you, one hand still clasped at your arm and the other is rubbing soothingly at your shoulder. likewise, your own free hand was clutched at his shirt, shaking and unwilling to let go. the scene was gentle but not too close, not too intimate, but then it happened. it was the reason that got everyone losing their inhibitions, shipping you and your manager together.

toji had let go of your arm, stepping back a bit to give you more space. it forced you to let go of his shirt, hand coming down to rest at your side again. toji then turned to someone, speaking to them quite angrily (many fans would deduce it’s about the “fan,” angry at the fact that he got close enough to almost hurt you.) then toji turned his attention back to you and leant down to your height (fans are going crazy at how cute you and toji’s height difference is), whispering something to you that got you nodding your head. then he laced his fingers with yours, pulling you flushed close to his side, and did not let go even when the staff began ushering you both to your flight.

“yo what in the kdrama-,” the one taking the video would say and the audio would be a meme for two weeks.

there is a whole separate twitter hashtag created for you and toji, and that airport scene.

“How hard can it be?”
