Is anyone else having this problem? Tumblr mobile wonât let you edit a post after you post it?
The âsaveâ button is unavailable and any edits you make on it are not saved. Is it a glitch or is tumblr being a bitch again?

How to Edit Posts & Masterlists
Tumblr changed the editing capabilities from the old way recently, and they've made it simple to do again it's just difficult to find.Â
Soooooo thought I'd share with everyone so you don't go crazy like I did and yell at Tumblr staff LOLÂ
1. You have to be on a computer- doesn't work on mobile. 2. Find your post you want to edit. Usually the easiest way is to search your own blog and find the post (this is why tags are important for your own sanity, so you can search in your own blog. For example evansrogerskitten tag lets me find everything Iâd ever want to edit.) Don't bother with scrolling thru Mass Post Editor if you don't have to. Masterlist links in headers are ideal cuz you can always get to them, and so can your followers (see here for how to code those.)
3. Open that original post into a new tab. Best way is to click the top right white corner of the post, it makes it flip down like a little piece of paper. Click that corner. Suddenly a new tab opens.Â
4. At the very top of the new tab, on the right side, is a pencil icon. Click the pencil.
5. Another new page will open with your post in edit mode. Edit away. Click save. This will update it!Â
This eliminates the need to redo lists, as you can always update them. Magical!Â

Why isn't Tumblr letting me edit posts? I just want to add some extra tags and I have to go through certain posts one by one because it's too much work to find them with the mass post editor. I tried doing it on my phone but for some reason it didn't get saved. Is anyone else having this?

Has anyone else noticed that if you go to your tumblr page ((name).tumblr.com) you can no longer hit a customize button and change your theme from there AND you can no longer click on a post and then hit an edit button from your page? (They were located in the top right corner) Does anyone know a way to fix this? Thereâs some posts on a side blog I want to change the tags of and the edit button is gone. And the posts were rebloged years ago so it would take days to scroll through my posts via my dash just to change it.

July 22, 2018: NEW IN VERSION 1.6.1/h2>
More customization than ever! The Wunderbar already edits custom post types, which is great for things like Woocommerce products. But sometimes you wonât want it to, so you can now specify custom post types you DONâT want edited. You can also set you own custom HTML to surround any image or file you drop onto your page content. (Of course thatâs also editable after you drop in the picture or file.)
January 29, 2018: NEW IN VERSION 1.5
The Wunderbar now gives you the option to create new pages or post when they donât exist. If you visit a URL that results in a 404 error page, Wunderbar will pop up a dialog box that offers to create that page for you. This way you can, for instance, invent a hyperlink on one page, then click it , and youâll be asked if you want to create the new page.
November 15, 2017: NEW IN VERSION 1.4.1
The Wunderbar has always had a Styles drop-down menu. Now you can configure it from Admin/Setup with a list of context-sensitive elements and custom styles to be applied. The Wunderbar also will no longer activate if an admin user doesnât have editing privileges.
July 25, 2017: NEW IN VERSION 1.4.0
The Wunderbar now integrates seamlessly with the popular, awesome Advanced Custom Fields plugin. The free ACF plugin lets you add additional fields to posts for display on your pagesâand the Wunderbar will let you edit those new textareas, WYSIWYG, & text fields just like you now edit the rest of your content.
Plus, we squashed a few bugs and seriously improved compatibility with Internet Explorer.
