Alex’s eyes drop to the injuries across his stomach, and it reminds him of the dog attack he saw once at the park. When Jacob says it was a bear that had done this to him his eyes widen. A bear? Alex trails after him, uncertain of what else to do because if he tried to leave then he was probably going to end up with a bliss-soaked arrow embedded in his torso.

              ♛ —–   Right at this moment he MISSED Kyrat. He missed the people and the peaceful landscape. He missed all those things that reminded him of his MOTHER . Here in HOPE COUNTY , he didn’t have any of that. Nothing beautiful, nothing peaceful. All he heard was Judges barking and whining. People groaning with PAIN . All these fucking cult radio songs. Ajay felt it, today was gonna be a BAD day.

             When he finally arrived at the Veteran’s Center, he didn’t try to cross anyone’s path. He didn’t want to look at people or even SPEAK to them. No. He was called here for SOMETHING by JACOB . He wasn’t sure what he wanted, though. As he opened the door to enter his office, Ajay already noticed him standing in front of the window, looking out of it as if he was watching over a KINGDOM . A weird feeling.

“No no- Jake- Jacob, listen to me please!”

Her heart is hanging deep in her stomach, typically sworthy features taking on a much paler demeanour. Forehead damp in anxious sweat as her hands raise in defence to halt the Alpha for a second longer. The blood has long since soaked her sleeves, something that should have belonged to another but was instead her own.He had given a chance to strengthen his opinion of her, prove her worth as a fierce fighter, yet it had all gone SOUTH. A task to clear out a hoard of those damned Whitetails, clear the floors with sanguine and send a ripple of terror throughout the remainders of the herd. The building had been rigged, a few straggling resistance members luring her straight into the trap, cover torn straight apart to flare the wolf out from amongst the sheep.A wolf will display her throat in submission, a sign of respect for a beast of higher power, this is no different. Crouched slightly to let him loom ahead as her chest shuddered with each aching breath.

“I didn’t know, n-none of us could have known… I did what I could but the target wasn’t there, it was a fuckin’ trap- am I weak?”

    ♛ – It was about time he woke up. But it didn’t feel right. Ajay opened his eyes, it felt like the first time in HOURS. And even though his eyes were open, he wasn’t able to see through this DARK BLURRED WALL. Was this a dream? ----Where on earth was he?! This feeling, it wasn’t all too unfamiliar. Reminded him of his first time in DURGESH PRISON. But Ajay was well aware that he was NOT there. He was NOT in KYRAT. He was SOMEWHERE in a dark place, all he recognized was a dark silhouette moving slowly towards him. 

    One last time he closed his eyes again, hoping that when he would open them again, everything would be BRIGHT as daylight and PEACEFUL as the mountain’s nature. But soon he had to accept that this weird feeling was not just a dream. It was REALITY. It took him some time, but now he was able to see clearly again. His gaze wandered through the room. It was still dark and bars surrounded him. ------ GOD DAMNIT! He was caged like an animal.

    He lifted his upper body up to sit straight, but it didn’t feel as easy as usual. Somebody must have hit him real hard in the head. RIGHT! THAT’S WHAT HAPPENED, he remembered now. During a fight he got knocked out and everything went black. Ajay looked up to see a man standing in front of the cage’s door. NOW he knew... FUCK! It was JACOB SEED.

    Sure, Ajay knew WHY he himself joined the resistance, he knew who the hell JACOB was and what he did to people. Back in KYRAT he thought there was nothing worse than YUMA and the prison. Oh, did he think wrong. Yuma once left him with NIGHTMARES. Jacob was gonna leave him with HORRIBLE REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES.

His lungs choked on air. It was hurried and irrational and labored. Extremely so. But that wasn’t going to stop him. Not now. Not when he managed to get THIS far. This whole thing happened in a BLURR. Jacob had backed away and left him alone. With one guard. With one KNIFE. Things quickly escalated from there. A series of stabbing, key-stealing, and escaping was the gist of it. 

And now he was on the outside.

Being HUNTED.

Fuck whatever he left behind. Weapons. All his collected shit? Who NEEDED it at a time like this? He could make it back. Get it all collected and reattained from a shop owner. Rook could do this. He could. He just had to stay ahead. Stay out of sight and scent until they, for the most part, gave up for the night.  How far could he get, they’d laugh.

They’d be SURPRISED.

With an angry huff, Rook darts towards the left, sliding down the nearest sloped cliff-face. He had to get to the nearest river. Or lake. He’d take either at this point. Wash off all the fucking grime and dried BLOOD that covered him. Cover up whatever SCENT he left behind. Rook could still hear them off behind him, yelling and snapping...but it was growing DISTANT.
