Colorado republicans have introduced a bill that would demand teachers be fired and possibly sent to jail, for going on strike.
As you know it’s been quite the year for teachers going on strike, and with very good reason.
Today we focus on Colorado, because the Republican party of Colorado has gone insane.

😫 50th in teacher wage competitiveness—compares teachers to non-teachers with similar education, experience and hours worked
😩 49th in number of novice teachers in the classroom
😶 44th in math gap
😠42nd in per-pupil spending adjusted for regional cost differences
😡 42nd in poverty gap
😢 41st in pupil-teacher ratio
🤬 40th in per pupil spending
😠39th in reading gap
😤 39th in spending on education adjusted for regional cost differences
😣 39th out of the 44 states that provide state support for preschool/ECE.

The strikes are coming. The walkouts are coming.  The question being, is jail time coming too?
