cant believe its nearly a year ago since the youtube sexual abuse allegations came out
The "unsubscribe together" link lists Onision twice, and does not mention Eddplant at all. This should be corrected.
i could've sworn eddplant was already on the list, but it looks like you're right! i'll tweet this to stefan.
if anyone has similar information/suggestions for unsubscribe together, please feel free to let us know or to tweet directly to stefan. they recently reached out to us looking for some kind of masterpost on youtubers making racist content in order to expand the website; any help with that would also be appreciated!

I am actually furious right now. Several months ago a bunch of youtubers were revealed to have raped, sexually assaulted and manipulated multiple females (and a few of them did this to underage girls, like seriously wtf). And it sucked that there were a bunch of them and it sucked even more that these events actually happened. But it looked like we were doing the right thing and bringing up the issue and talking about it. For a few months those youtubers stopped posting videos and it seemed like we had a community that was stronger than the actual world we live in.
But now they're posting videos again and getting loads of views and positive responses and money. I just found out Luke Conard posted a music video and I just... It's not right. I am so angry. For fuck's sake, if you're going to insist on continuing making youtube videos at least pretend you have even a shred of human decency and start a new fucking channel.
A one-click unsubscribe button for 25 accused YouTube abusers.
The subscription counts for many of the accused YT abusers haven't significantly changed since the allegations against them broke. By unsubscribing from their accounts, we decrease their power/reach and we send them the message that we will no longer support abusive behavior.

I'm signing because we have to stand against injustice within our community.
People who have abused a position of power should not be allowed to hold that position again. Their victims wont have a safe community until they are removed from it.
YouTube should always be a place where people view content that they love, and no one deserves to be in fear when viewing videos.
These people have abused their position as a Partner, and they should not be allowed to continue to make a profit off their videos. YouTube needs to be a safe platform for everyone.
These abusers have abused a position of power & can be triggering to their survivors.
PETITION YOUTUBE TO DEPARTNER FROM ALLEGED ABUSERS ED BLANN, ALEX DAY, AND JASON SANSOME.
I went to that Jonathan King site & he says he worked with Sons of Admirals (Charlie, Alex, Tom and Ed) and also Forever Yours (which Charlie directed the video). So that means Charlie McDonnell worked with a once convicted child rapist. He's never addressed this to my knowledge & he hasn't been accused of abuse but I think it's still really shitty.
I didn’t know that. But I found this:
“Through Tommy [Tom Milsom] I met his friends Alex and Ed and eventually Charlie. None of them were creating songs I thought were hits so I suggested they formed a band - or a collective - called Sons of Admirals (Ed’s choice of name)” (source)
i dont control my own itunes account bc overprotective mother
which means i can't hit shuffle without mike lombardo/alex day/tom milsom/chameleon circuit popping up because I really liked their music and them as creators for a long time
and it makes me kind of sick
