The Size and Age of Eden City
I don't like to give exact numbers, but EC is about twice as large as Tokyo with three times the metro population. It's not a particularly old city at about 250 years. Space travel was much further along in this universe's 2020s than we are currently, but I haven't worldbuilt the past since it doesn't really come up, ever.
Music
The music that's popular is unfortunately mass-produced, soulless, and formulaic pop music of all subgenres. Good pop music by actual humans is still being recorded, but it's being drowned out by mass LLM-generated garbage that no one actually likes after paying attention to it.
Characters' Music Tastes
Arden will listen to anything with a nice beat and a good hook, but as stated in the first chapter of Legerdemain, is particularly partial to the Eden City Pop Classics station.
Juno prefers underground, politically charged stuff that no one really knows about. This can be rap, hip-hop, rock, metal, grunge; the genre doesn't matter as long as there's a message he can get behind.
Stella only listens to music that came from Earth. There's just something strange and fascinating about listening to stuff from the human homeworld that she's never been to and never will go to.
Yujin only listens to music in Korean and Japanese; the genre doesn't matter, but he absolutely loathes ballads, so he has to really go looking for stuff to listen to sometimes if he doesn't feel like pop in that very moment.
This is far enough into the future that the relationship between Japan and Korea is more of the sibling rivalry type than not-so-subtle hostility. And yes, 'Korea' here refers to a united Korea.
Ángela is similar to Arden: she'll listen to anything, but isn't much of a music lover. When she gets off shift she'd rather put on a white noise machine than listen to music.

What is the determining factore for who gets treated severity? conection to staff? if there is even treatment availibell? Unfortunately, the state of medicine is something I've spent a grand total of maybe 5 minutes thinking about in the near-decade this universe has existed.
I only worldbuild what's important to the stories I write, and not one character between Legerdemain and the novel will be in direct contact with mainstream medicine, except Ángela, who has no interest in talking about her job.
So, instead of pulling shit out of my ass to answer all of these, I'll only answer the ones I can.
The likelihood of treatment
Anyone who walks through the doors of the public hospital will eventually be seen, if they don't die or leave due to impatience first.
Who gets priority
The hospital mostly handles emergencies, so patients are triaged. If you are not in for an emergency, it's by appointment, then by time of arrival. If you arrived before someone who has an appointment, you will only be seen if there was no one else before you and no appointment has been scheduled for the next 10-15 minutes.
Basically the same as any hospital.
Funding
Taxes, exactly like any other public hospital. They also take donations. Plenty of wealthy Edenites are "happy" to throw money at them after a PR scandal or two.
Who ends up working at the public hospital?
Same as any hospital: the ones that apply, go through the hiring process, and wind up getting hired. The only thing special about the hospital is that it's public.
Do any corps offer healthcare to their employees?
No. They will only offer insurance.
Trans care accessibility
Completely accessible to anyone. Price of care is dependent on income, down to completely free, and up to more or less subsidising other trans people's care.

Cyberdecks
Cyberdecks are miniature computers.
Corp-built decks are largely standardised and run on corp-built operating systems (OS) whereas DIY decks can be built out of basically anything that can hold a monitor (touchscreen or otherwise), a keyboard (optional) and internal components, and largely run on free and open source OSes.
The more experienced typically build their own OS from source code.

Cyberpsychosis
Acute Cyberspace-Induced Psychosis (ACSIP).
In-universe, having a deck by itself doesn't mean you'll go into cyberpsychosis. For the game, I made it a deck-only thing because someone who doesn't use a deck won't be doing cyberdives nearly as often as one who does use a deck. Diving is the only way to end up suffering cyberpsychosis.
What Cyberpsychosis Is
An acute form of psychosis of the hallucination variety. What any given decker hallucinates depends on the person themselves, but the most common ones are as follows:
Those with optic cyberware tend to get ghosting. Ever seen videos of FSR scaling and frame generation? It's like that, but worse.
Many get visual glitches that makes the world seem as though it's melting.
Some—the ones that spend the most time in cyberspace—tend to see their interpretation of cyberspace overlaid with the real world.
Those with aural cyberware tend to hear ringing and electric sizzling and buzzing.
They might also hear conversations that they subconsciously picked up while diving, hours later.
The aural/optic combination often has the decker hearing what they are seeing, both in the synaesthesia sense, and in the text-to-speech sense. The text typically doesn't exist in the real world.
Those who have no cyberware will still hallucinate, and they tend to be purely visual.
The primary treatment for cyberpsychosis is time and cessation of cyberdives.
If they are deemed a danger to themselves, they will be held in a 72 hour psychiatric hold. If that doesn't work, then antipsychotics will be administered for a few months (typically three). Afterwards, the patient will be carefully monitored.
Cyberpsychosis rarely leads to the decker becoming aggressive or violent.
Healthcare
Considering this is 300 years into the future, it's much more advanced than anything we have.
People with access to good medical care usually make it to over 110 before kicking the bucket.
Cancer care is almost entirety preventative in the form of a vaccine. The cancers that cannot be prevented that way are still treated with chemotherapy, but there are supportive medication that reduces the side effects of chemo without interfering with it.
People are far more laissez-faire about lifestyle diseases because, "I can just get it replaced". A lot of smokers, for example, would rather set aside some money for new lungs every month than quit smoking.
Congenital conditions are typically treated in utero.
Speaking of in utero, couples can rent incubators if none of the parties wishes or is physically capable of pregnancy.
Healthcare Accessibility
It depends on where you live.
In Eden City, specifically, you're fucked seven ways to Sunday if you don't make seven figures a year. There's only one publicly funded hospital in the city, and because of that, it is under such pressure that it's near collapse.
Back alley doctors have become popular among the poor, but those tend to be individuals who have had their licenses revoked due to malpractice.
There are also cyberware scavengers who will pose as doctors in order to murder and strip the patient of their hardware.
In Southport, healthcare is universal and good enough, though none of their hospitals reach the level of care that the top hospitals in Eden City can provide.
On the whole, though, the average Porter is much healthier than the average Edenite, both physically and psychologically.
The same goes for Silencio and most of Earth.

There are no countries on Terra Nova, only city-states.
Eden City was the brainchild of a US American billionaire and was the first colony on Terra Nova. It was at first a secret project, but wound up running into funding issues. The founder then decided to bring in investors, which then led to a huge media buzz and later a legal battle that ended up killing it.
Years later, it was restarted as a joint government project across North America, and included Japan and what was at the time South Korea. The original founder was brought onboard in the final stages and became the first president of Eden City, holding the office for over 20 years. Term limits were instated after he left office.
Palmer Plaza is named after this billionaire.
Southport is the second colony to be founded on Terra Nova. It was originally a Danish-Dutch project that nearly ended up falling through when the Dutch pulled out, deciding to just rebuild on the water. The project was saved by bringing in the rest of the Nordics and the Baltics.
The official name of Southport is Sønderholm ('Southern Island').
Silencio is a recent addition as the third colony to be founded on Terra Nova and doesn't have much worldbuilding attached to it yet beyond being a majority LATAM project. It received its name for the quietude of the landing site.
The other six city-states haven't received any worldbuilding.
The infrastructure for it was never built, and the telecom companies in charge of it have decided that it's not worth building up on a planet with only 9 city-states.
Some tech enthusiasts have taken it upon themselves to try to build their own global internet, but progress is slow, and they face quite a bit of resistance from the aforementioned telecom companies.
That doesn't mean that it's impossible to access other city-states's internet services; just that it's too much of a hassle and much too expensive for the average user.
The global internet still exists on Earth, but most have moved over to their own invite-only subnets for guaranteed communication with another human.

Hands-free personal communication implants exist, but are rarely implanted. They are much too easy to crack, track and trace, and anyone who has such an implant inside their skull is considered to be a dumbass with too much money and not enough self-preservation insticts.
Intrusion Countermeasures Electronics (ICE) exists and is not a misnomer in this setting.
ICE is either a physical add-on to a cyberdeck (or other type of computer) or a neural implant connected to a cranial deck. It passively monitors and filters incoming traffic much like a firewall and will block suspected attacks.
Some people, however, are not content with just blocking attacks. Hackers better be prepared for the possibility of black ice.
Both all lowercase and all uppercase is correct for the acronym.
Expect to see quite a few terms that William Gibson made standard with The Sprawl Trilogy.
Eden City Japanese have entirely dropped honorifics, use Western naming order and have largely switched over to exclusively using hiragana. They also speak a variant of Japanese that borders on unintelligible for Earth Japanese. Most Earth Japanese agree that whatever they speak in Eden City should probably be classified as a different language, though Edenites tend to think of that as an exaggeration.
Eden City Spanish is a lost cause as far as Earthers are concerned. Even people from Silencio have trouble understanding it, and they have far more exposure to it than Earthers do by virtue of being on the same planet.
And English—well, Eden City English is a weird one:
The accent is largely west coast American, but like some Yorkshire accents will replace some Ts with glottal stops. The bo'le o' wa'er meme is absolutely how a good chunk of Edenites would say "bottle of water".
They also have other Britishisms, like calling their friends mates, saying anticlockwise instead of counterclockwise, using the British names for fruits and vegetables, and generally using British spelling over American. The dialect is still largely influenced by American English, however.
It also has a bit of a Spanish flair—it's more common for a blond(e) to be called "güero/güera" than "blondie", for example. And friends tend to reach for Spanish terms of affection, too.
Sometimes a little Japanese sneaks in there as well.
As for languages spoken outside Eden City, well, we don't speak about Southport Scandinavian.
