Saturday is indy wrestling day for me! I'm gonna have to walk to the show because Ree & Ed are going to be part of a boat parade, but its only a 25 minute walk, I'll pack my headphones and have a tote bag for merch purposes, it'll be fine, if I'm having a bad knee day I might try to get a cab ride home, we have options- I wasn't missing this show.
It'll be my first solo show since 2019, when I saw childhood WWE blorbo Gangrel wrestle and drove home in Silent Hill level fog with a broken brake line on my car. Even walking, the return trip will be much less stressful.
Already announced is a lot of matches I'm interested in seeing, and also Vanessa Kraven (who has confirmed a womens title defense for this week on Facebook), Ronnie Payne, Mystery Wrestling legend Dreya Mitchell, and Olafur Hanson (who used Giant by Stan Rogers for a promo, incredible choice - I am more sold on him suddenly) announced.
Hoping for a surprise Joey White appearance again, I didn't get to see too much of his match at the free show because kids swarmed infront of me, which hey thats what this show was for and I still enjoyed myself, but I wanna see him again - I'm already a fan from watching his stuff online, another like Rudy with potential to break away from just being in this scene. The scene here has a lot of shared talent that rotates around. He'd be a great pick for Sebbys opponent in his title match.
Extremely excited to see another Rudy Lockhart match and have a chance to get one of his T-Shirts. He recently had a banger with Mustafa Ali, is beloved all across Nova Scotia, and I am a fan. I hope to get a picture with him if possible as well.
I have merch for a few people already here, so I will be wearing something from that pile to the show, seems the logical and fun choice out of my wrestling shirts.
So yeah, I'm pretty damn hyped. Gonna be a great show, like always.
