I just realized I never specified which of my two couples I should answer for XD so we'll go with Ebonymist and Bastian since they're my main lovebugs~ but please feel free to ask again if they're not who you had in mind! β€οΈ
15. Do they have doubts about each other? Are those doubts well-founded or exaggerated?
Its not so much they doubt each other, its more they worry about the other. Ebony does NOT suffer fools lightly and Bastian worries she'll go too far with telling them off (or worse). Ebony, on the other hand, is worried the Silvelles will try to make Bastian come back to them, in which he might lose his temper.
Both of these concerns are very well-founded.
16. How much do they actually trust each other? Was their trust ever broken? Can it be mended?
They trust each other wholeheartedly. Bastian trusts Ebonymist that she'll help him with whatever may come, no questions asked, nothing asked in return. No strings or ulterior expectations. Ebony trusts Bastian to stay by her side and bring her peace of mind, whether he realizes he does or not. It brings her great comfort to have someone to turn to when saving Nirn gets too crazy.
