I don't like unrealistic tales of love and loss. This song is awesome. When I saw them play (about a decade ago, ohmygod that makes me feel old, although I was about 15 at the time) and he introduced it as "real love, not in a Chris De Burgh way, because your breath doesn't always smell great in the morning and sometimes you have big fights" which I liked, and it's a sentiment I still maintain. The movies and the songs don't show you what happens after the initial high wears off, but that doesn't mean it's not still just as special.
