Road to the Yukon

Perhaps all anxiety might derive from a fixation on moments — an inability to accept life as ongoing.

My heart overflows with a longing to tell you so many things…

We are not the same person this year as last; nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we, changing, continue to love a changed person.

I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who makes things beautiful.

Feels like reckless driving when we're talking, it's fun while it lasts and it's faster than walking. But no one's gonna sympathise when we crash, they'll say "you hit what you head for; you get what you ask". And we'll say we didn't know. No, we didn't even try. One minute there was road beneath us, and the next just sky.

Do not weep; do not wax indignant. Understand.
