I hate reading over my old writing so this is going to be... difficult

1) New Light

Anakin closed his eyes and tried to breath. Without the help of the suit, he found that his lungs burned with the effort to keep his body alive. Above, he could see Luke’s face. Anakin smiled softly- he looked the same way he had looked when he was a young Jedi knight. He even had a similar haircut. Luke’s face went in and out of focus, and Anakin closed his eyes. 

2) The Giver

Anakin opened his eyes with a start, and saw nothing. The space was empty, a black room that seemed to go on forever. He looked down to inspect his body and saw that he was still in his sleeping clothes, and without shoes. His bare feet were submerged in cool water, and small ripples pulsed away from his ankles.

3) Praying for Rain

“Anakin.” Padme said when her husband answered the comm. “You need to come over. Now” She snapped.

4) Feed the Beast Within

“Now be brave and don’t look back.” Shmi said while gripping onto Anakin’s shoulders, a sad smile on her face. She pulled him in for one last hug, trying her best to remember how it felt to have her son’s arms wrap around her and grip the fabric of her tunic. They stayed that way for a moment, and it felt like it lasted forever and that it was over in a second.

It all happened so fast.

“Why are you interested in meeting with Skywalker?” Mace asked as they overlooked the training session that was taking place.

7) Withered Wonder

The first time Anakin had a panic attack since Obi-Wan had been shot, he didn’t think much of it. A part of his mind still clung to the image of Obi-Wan, lifeless in Ahsoka’s arms as she looked up at him, tears threatening to spill over. How he felt their bond shatter into a million pieces, and the accompanying loneliness that he felt.

8) Sheltered

“Anakin, that’s the second time you’ve fainted this week.” Obi-Wan remarked.

9) Blackbird

“Padme!” Anakin called out as he rushed into her apartment. His hair and robes were blowing in the wind. His eyes were frantic, searching for his wife in their apartment. His heart was pounding in his chest. His mind was still struggling to comprehend what he had just heard.

10) Welcome Home

“Again, Anakin.” Obi-Wan’s voice commanded from across the training room. Anakin huffed and got back into a defensive stance, for what seemed like the millionth time that day.

11) Beneath the Skin

“Stay close to me, Snips,” Anakin warned as they made their way through the market. Around them people moved about, shouting and trading, kicking up dust with their steps.

12) I Breathe What is Yours

It started with a tickle in the back of his throat. But Anakin didn’t pay any attention to it, not when there were more important things to worry about.

13) New Home

Vader stood in the doorway. He shouldn’t be this nervous. But he was. He was unsure of how to handle dealing with a child- never mind his own child.

14) Already Gone

She hung up one dress. And then another. And then another.

15) Toy Swords

“Ow, Ahsoka, quit it!” Anakin exclaimed as he quickly turned around to see a toddler whacking him in the shins with a toy saber.

16) Strange Silence

Anakin inhaled. And then exhaled again. He crossed his arms over his chest, his hands curled into fists as he tried to block out the noise from everything around him. And everything inside his head.

17) The Greatest

“Quick!” Rex shouted. “The general’s loosing too much blood!”

18) Luckiest Guy in The Galaxy

Obi-Wan rushed through the halls of healing, his cloak trailing behind him.

Anakin sighed, and turned away to cough into his shoulder. 

20) Grounded

She almost missed it, over the sound of the clones screaming and explosion after explosion on the battlefield. Ahsoka ducked, dodging droid shrapnel, and wincing as she watched it decapitate a nearby trooper. She almost missed it, the warning, the cry in the force, that something was wrong.
