He's at home, for once, taking containers off of a cart and putting them into the room he's been using for storage space, and soliciting Giovanni for help. As a person, he does what people do best: acquire things over the span of their lifetimes. Over the many, many years, he's lost a lot to the sands of time and a lack of storage space. Before he had met Kikuko, he'd actually used the family home to store things.
The coming and going of "things" and "stuff" was part of the ebb and flow- and he hadn't kept much at all in the years that wasn't permanently part of his lab.
Everything he did keep was neatly tucked into two large waterproof containers.
Giovanni put the container on the floor and Yukinari popped the lid.
There's old things inside. Old as in eighty years old. A service cap, a few newspapers now crumpled and dusting at the edge, and a couple metal tags greeted him when he opened the first box. What also greeted him was a sealed leather pouch containing a lot of officiated paperwork. Really, he just wanted to find the old jacket he used to fit...
But a lot came back, and a lot didn't.
"Things have changed a lot. I had an older brother- I forgot I kept his documents. Goodness, I can't even remember what he looked like much at all. Flaming hair is all I know, of course."
