I wanted to thank everyone who reached out to me yesterday. Your love and kind words will help carry me through this next journey in my life. Cancer is a serious disease and early detection can save your life. I’m usually a pretty private person and keep to myself so sharing this is difficult for me. Get the scans, talk to your doctor and get the treatments. Life is short, don’t let cancer take it away from you.
Cervical cancer
Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that develops in the cervix, which is the lower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina. It is the fourth most common cancer in women worldwide and can affect women of all ages. However, it is most often diagnosed in women between 35 and years of age.
Causes of cervical cancer:
The main cause of cervical cancer is infection with human papillomavirus (HPV), a sexually transmitted virus. There are more than 100 different types of HPV, and some types can cause cervical cancer. Other factors that can increase the risk of cervical cancer include smoking, a weakened immune system, a family history of cervical cancer, and multiple sexual partners.
Symptoms of cervical cancer:
Cervical cancer does not necessarily cause symptoms in its early stages. As the cancer progresses, symptoms may include abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain or discomfort, pain during intercourse, and unusual vaginal discharge. It is important to note that these symptoms can be caused by other diseases, so it is important to consult a doctor to get a proper diagnosis.
Prevention and early detection of cervical cancer:
The most effective way to prevent cervical cancer is the HPV vaccine. The HPV vaccine protects against the types of HPV that cause most cases of cervical cancer, as well as against other types of HPV that can cause other types of cancer. The vaccine is recommended for males and females between 9 and 26 years of age.
Regular cervical cancer screening is also important for early detection. A Pap test is a test that checks for abnormal cells on the cervix. It is recommended that women start regular Pap tests from the age of 21. In addition, the new HPV test can also detect the presence of the virus that causes cervical cancer. Women should discuss with their healthcare provider which exams are right for them.
Treatment of cervical cancer:
Treatment of cervical cancer depends on the stage of the cancer and other factors such as the woman's age and general health. Treatment options may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or a combination of these treatments.
In summary, cervical cancer is a common female cancer that can be prevented by vaccination and detected early by regular screening. Women should consult with their health care provider to determine appropriate screening and vaccination. If cervical cancer is diagnosed, early treatment can lead to a better outcome.

Dear Friends.
I had a couple of dms I wanted to respond to this morning ,
But I went off the rails with another topic , and ran out of time bf work😥 .
I am writing a general post bc I can not respond to dms per Tumblr’s annoyance with me .
Anywhose
When I look at the selfies , nudes , pics in general that you post on Tumblr …
I notice things from a medical Pov .
Sometimes I exam your eyes, cuticles, lesions , etc
If you post nudes , I notice your breast .
If I observe inverted nipples , lumpy or texture on the breast ,
I WILL write you a dm urging you to see your doctor…whether I know you or not .
This is weird and invasive, I am aware , but it could possibly save a life
Please take care of not only your mental health , but physical health as well ;
Schedule your yearly pap and mammogram if you are noticing changes in your breast regardless of your age or sex .
Remember,
We are fam , and if we can post nudes we can share anything 🤗
Including potential life saving information 💡
All the best Renee💫
⚠️early detection saves your life
I found out today that my uncle has cancer just like me. He always takes care of himself so well, I wouldn't have thought it was possible. Of course I was wrong. It's not really about taking care of yourself. Someone you think is very healthy can get sick too.
My uncle's voice had been low for a long time, and we found out he had a tumor in his throat.
‼️I'm a third time cancer-fighting person and I'm telling you, early detection saves your life. Please consult your doctor if you have serious problems that persists. Many symptoms can indicate cancer. Please don't underestimate this.‼️

So I am an eager beaver and I found out tests are cheaper than when we had our second babe and especially our first. So I bought some and tested once I got home.
First test experience:
- I don’t think I had enough pee to do the test
- The line showed up about 20 mins after I took it, but I wasn’t trying to read into it.
Second test experience:
- I took it around 4:20pm
- The line showed up before the 3 minute timer
- I had more than a ton of pee
My friend told me I should test again today and I’m glad I did. After the first test I tried to reason and figure out what it all meant. But what led me to really test again was that I have been cramping since day 2 past ovulation. It hasn’t stopped and I was worried that something was wrong. It was all mild but I just needed to double check. Turns out it’s ✨pregnancy✨
When industrial product designer Hans Ramzan lost a beloved aunt to AIDS, in part because of a late diagnosis, he was inspired to create an inexpensive HIV test that could help people get diagnosed quickly and during earlier stages of the disease.
The result, reports Design Week, is a small device called Catch that costs £4 (about $5.20) to produce. Ramzan, who is based in London, said Catch would be ideal for use in developing countries because people can self-test at home, sparing them long journeys to the nearest hospital or caregiver.
Why Heart Health Screening Is Important for Every Adult
Heart disease is one of the leading causes of health problems worldwide. Many heart-related conditions develop gradually and may not show noticeable symptoms in their early stages. Regular heart health screening helps identify potential risks early, allowing individuals to make informed decisions about their health and receive timely medical care.
Routine screening is an important part of preventive healthcare. It provides valuable information about your cardiovascular health and helps healthcare professionals detect conditions such as high cholesterol, irregular heart rhythms, and other factors that may increase the risk of heart disease. Early diagnosis often leads to more effective treatment and better long-term outcomes.
Several diagnostic tests play an important role in evaluating heart health. A Lipid Profile measures cholesterol and triglyceride levels, helping assess the risk of cardiovascular disease. Hemoglobin (Hb%) evaluates the blood's oxygen-carrying capacity, while Random Blood Sugar (RBS) and HbA1c (Glycated Hemoglobin) help identify and monitor diabetes, a condition closely linked to heart disease. Liver Function Tests (LFT) and Renal Function Tests (RFT) provide additional insights into overall health because liver and kidney function can influence cardiovascular wellness.
An Electrocardiogram (ECG) records the electrical activity of the heart and helps detect irregular heartbeats and other cardiac abnormalities. Vital Signs Assessment, including blood pressure and pulse rate, provides additional information about heart function. For individuals with breathing difficulties, a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) can help assess lung health, which also contributes to overall cardiovascular well-being.
Maintaining a heart-healthy lifestyle is just as important as regular screening. Eating nutritious foods, exercising regularly, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding tobacco products, and managing stress all contribute to better heart health. Combining healthy habits with routine diagnostic testing helps reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular conditions.
