y'all ever just look at EA houses and be like what in the everliving fuckery is this???

Sorry for tilted image, this is the Roswell Family's home in Strangerville called Strangerville Overlook. My first thought is this is a bigass house but why is it so empty??

So time for a deeper look.

Whats going on with this kitchen, why do the counters stop right there? Why is that corner cabinet there?

Okay now we go upstairs, why even bother having two floors? Also they have a basement nothing to say on the basement its just a room with some 'confidential' files.

Uhm, is this an interrogation room??? Who is Ted interrogating?

Why is there 2 beds in this room? Why is there a single bed in this room, why is it in an angle?

Why does this household have so many beds? There are six beds in total, four bedrooms two of which has two beds for some reason. Were they planning to have a bunch of children?? And I know they were posessed by aliens but don't blame the aliens on this weirdness. At this point I'm questioning if my game is glitching did this house really load like this? Is EA Builds always this horrendous?? I know one house in island living doesnt even have a toliet but this is worse than that.

New Project!

To help myself get motivated, I am going to work on improving the existing EA built lots! This is not a new save file! I’m just going to edit the existing lots, not create my own within the neighborhoods. I will also be fixing up the existing Townies! I will be uploading pictures and supplying download links to any and all builds/sims that I overhaul!

I just went to play a little Veronaville today and since Consort has died, Juliette is struggling to pay the upkeep. (Especially with my tax system, which I call Eat The Rich). They didn’t have a lot of cash on hand considering (particularly compared to the Goths). I couldn’t work out how the lot value was 320k simoleons, though. It wasn’t anything extra extravagant.

I thought maybe it was the lot size, and the more I thought about it the more I realised I wanted to fix the stupidly long walk to the house. But using lot adjuster to take away the front of the drive felt terrifying.

I toyed with downloading a renovated version but I had renovated the house with my CC and for these sims, and so I decided to rebuild the whole house, closer to the road. Yes. It was painstaking, but I knew it would be worth it. I’d then adjust the lot to shorten it at the back.

Well. After I built the new house and transferred everything, etc, I deleted the original house bit by bit. And when I deleted the stairs in the original house, they apparently cost ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY THOUSAND SIMOLEONS???!! How did that happen? And it was also weird because even deleting both stairs, which claimed to give me 140k each back, the funds were wrong.

But I am left with a house worth around 100k, a lot more cash for supposedly the richest family in the neighbourhood, and a driveway that doesn’t take an hour to walk down.

So all’s well that ends well. But has anyone else noticed this in their game?
