1. The saddest part is the fact the tournament is over now. It was held in my country and I can honestly say I am so so so proud of Poland - the organisation was perfect, the fans and people in general were amazing and we did a really good job. I hope the good impression about Poland will stay in people's minds for years. And it was the best tournamnet so far, wasn't that what Platini said? The organisation and the level of football, right? We made history together - as the slogan said :) Thinking of it makes me wanna cry tears of happiness because I am proud and I will remember those days forever.
2. The final wasn't the best game of the tournament. It was actually a goal fest for Spain and a knife attack for my heart, because each goal hurt. I wanted Spain to win, okay, I admit. I am a fan of their NT for years now, because of their football I decided to learn spanish and that leaded to that I lived in Spain for half a year, so I have feels, ok. But (it's absurd, I know!) I wanted them to win without scoring. I mean, I wanted Buffon to save every ball. It's absurd, it's impossible, I know, but that's why that final hurt. I didn't know what my feelings were doing. I wans't happy after the goals. Not at all. My friends were like "wtf is wrong with you????" and I couldn't explain. It just hurt to see Buffon on his knees watching the ball fall into the goal. And then, when the match was over - faces of Italian players. My mum tried to comfort me and said they have the second place and that's a success, but you know, when you have the posibility of winning something bigger, and then you get kicked in your balls (Spain really didn't have to score 4 times, really, and then the attempt of Ramos, ough) and must watch the other team with the trophe that could be yours... Who wouldn't cry? Oh, The Captain. Gianluigi Buffon. I was so afarid he would tear his eyes and then my heart would be broken forever. But he was just standing there, staring at Spainish team with pensive glance. And he was like the father for others, the younger players who cried a river there. That was amazing. A man like that... whoaaah. I just pray he continues his career. I hope to see him on field in 2014 in Brazil. PLEASE. I admire him and adore him. And okay, I am just a weak woman - he's so handsome!
3. Congratulations Spain! I am happy for you. My heart is broken, but the part of it belongs to you and this part is happy and when I see all those photos of you celebrating - <3
4. The best match of Euro was Italy vs. Germany. It was amazingly well played and very interesting to watch.
5. I'm still feeling sorry for Poland, Polish NT. We could do better, but once again it was "like always". But I will still support my team and I really hope that we'll qualify for the World Cup and maybe there... Or in 4 years, who knows ;) Spain was shitty for years too and look at them now! :)
6. I fell in love not only with Buffon (what was a unexpected plot twist) but also with Ireland :) I met a lot of Irish supporters working during Euro (and after work) and they're amazing people, now I dream of going to Ireland and aw yeah, I hope I will! :))) And I've heard they are willing to hold the Euro 2020 in Ireland, Scotland and Wales - AW YEAH FOR THAT!
7. OMG I don't know what else to say now. Maybe just: Euro 2012 was amazing and I will remember it forever because it brought the dream coming true and all the feels, and was one of the best things ever that happened in Poland.
