I've never been able to play for more than a couple of hours as MShep because of the voice acting, that "I'm a macho macho man with no emotion" bullshit has always thrown me off too much. Such a pity.
Yeah, it really is a pity. I almost stopped playing because of this, I couldn’t understand the drastic change, and it’s even more noticeable that Meer is so good. He really is, and he gets to shine in ME3. So those instructions weren’t benefiting players, except those who enjoy that kind of stereotyping.
But maybe things have evolved and in a good way? I think Joel from The Last of Us could have been your typical male hero survivor in a zombie apocalypse but the guy expresses all sorts of expression from the beginning, and the game was better because of it, and successful too so... It’s not like it’s not evolving, it’s just too bad for ME1.

What was the first video game you fell in love with and played addictively? Metal Gear Solid
What is the one video game you played but were ashamed to tell people about it? Spyro the Dragon
What is the one video game you got into but you can't explain why? Crash Bandicoot
What video game did you love, but now hate or loathe? The Sims because it made me irrationally angry. I'd set up these families and then they'd all fuck shit up when I wasn't paying attention and it didn't save my progress I had made with each family.
What was the scariest video game you ever played? Silent Hill, fucking controller that thudded like your heartbeat...
What video game made you laugh? The Curse of Monkey Island
What video game have you started playing but never finished? The Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay (actually any Riddick video game) and some of the Lego games I got.

What is one MMO you wish they would come out with? Vampire the Masquerade, but none of this next Gen crap White Wolf has come out with. They'd have to do it super right.

What Flash or Facebook game do you or did you love? I can't remember likely one of those whatever Ville ones.
What would you change about some Flash or Facebook games? I don't like to bother friends to join a game so I can get further in a quest or do a thing. Also I don't have like 200 friends so yeah make it so I have to amass some not real money or do more quests that let me unlock something you stingy ho's
What is the one video game you wish you could get into, but can't? Diablo III - I have friends that still play but I just seem to be unable to play this game.
What is your idea of a perfect video game and why? This game that I am thinking of would likely break the bank, because I would want the game for the every gamer. It would be all parts of games I love but this ability to separate them and jump into one part of the game you most preferred. Want more story with a bit of a R rating click here, want more MMO style click here, want just quick little games because you don't have time for involved video games click here. Something open world but with quests, something with the option of romance if you want or something a little more hardcore for those people who like Skill based, resource based games. If it could incorporate all the things and then all my friends played it, that would be awesome. But I think my ideas are little too far fetched. Also sometimes I want to play on my own or with others and it'd be nice to go from solo mode to MMO mode.

I promise I will answer all the questions
Okay I'm just going to tag my random followers who I think would maybe want to ask me something. But maybe they don't. Maybe when the need to ask something arises they got a whole lot of nothing. I can understand that, I got nothing all the time. So honestly, if you have a question, a statement, an over all burning need to know why I would sometimes call myself an orphan with siblings on the side go ahead and put those things in my ask box or whatever it is called. This one time venture is open until August 3rd. I will then answer all questions, queries and other things on the 4th. So go do the thing or don't or think about it and then forget.
Sci-fi
Alright so this morning I was thinking of the shows I currently watch with the Sci-Fi theme and two things popped up immediately into my brain one was about shows currently on the TV and shows I think are just missing.
Right now we seem to have a swath of alien TV shows of different tropes: Fallen Skies with the Aliens invading and humanity fighting back, there is Defiance where the world is changed and gone a little grittier and there are issues with new aliens on this new Earth. We've got our time travel shows: Doctor Who, Continuum. We've got the Clone Club Orphan Black and the Agents of SHIELD, Warehouse 13, Revolution, Helix, and Almost Human.
I have seen some things on some of the upcoming TV Shows and realized something very odd, there is not a single space show. And by space show, I mean no one is in a space ship. You might see space ships or ships referenced but no one is living on these ships, they are not visiting other planets or even traveling the solar system looking for work, or another home. The last space ship trope series I can even remember was Stargate Universe (which was cancelled well before it's time). So what is up? Why do we not have a space show? Are people just done with space exploration? And now all I can think of is a Mass Effect TV show.... and how much I want this maybe over a movie. I miss the space operas, I miss the Enterprise, I miss Firefly and Stargate and BSG... So far all the upcoming shows I've heard words about are all still based in or around Earth -ish places...
And I was going to ask if any of the new ones that have come out are at all decent. Like is the Tomorrow People or The Neighbors even worth my time?
