I love your The Seven as dogs post(s), especially with how much thought you put into what breeds they would be. Do you have ideas on what breeds The Boys would be? Hope you’re having a good day!!

I would really love to know more about do spin attacks <3
For the WIP ask game
Hi hi, friend!! Okay this is probably wayyyy more than you want, lol, but this is a parallel to the Santos Werewolf Fic universe, the Santos Slayer Universe! I can't be stopped with my urban fantasy bullshit! (Really I have a whole raft of unconnected Buffyverse fics for the Pitt)
Anyway, this one is a darker take on Santos feeling very disconnected, abandoned, and eager to expunge the rage and sorrow via Slayer violence. I'm not sure if you're a Buffy fan, but she's, uh. MUCH closer to Faith in this than Buffy!
Whole thing behind a cut, as it's basically the entirety of one of the five vignettes for the fic. Also please excuse the [DRAFT BRACKETS], it's def still a WIP!
Her powers, her calling -- whatever-the-fuck -- had come too late.
It doesn’t suck, having them now -- Trinity can subdue someone twice her size with one hand behind her back, can pinpoint the exact direction of a scream from four blocks away, can even use a little non-sanctioned Slayer strength to fingerbang the life out of the flavor of the week. Better late than never, the second best time to get superpowers is right now, blah blah blah.
But still. It's hard not to wish, when she's [FIGHTING VAMPIRES] and [MORE FIGHTING] and [INAPPROPRIATE MEDICAL / BAD GIRL KNOWLEDGE] that she'd had this strength back then. Could've rode in like a white knight and rescued Tara from the jaws of the dragon, could’ve run a sword through his black heart and watched him bleed out. And he'd know, as he gurgled and choked, that it was Trinity that did it.
Trinity would have ripped him apart with her bare hands.
“Heading out?” Princess asks softly, coming up behind Trinity at the lockers, and Trinity blinks herself back to the present.
“Yep,” Trinity says, grabbing her backpack and hauling it over her shoulder, the wooden stakes clinking quietly against the glass med vials Trinity had tucked in there a few hours ago.
“You okay?” Princess asks, and when Trinity glances back at her Princess’s face is calm, even, not a trace of syrupy sympathy.
Thirteen year old boy testing positive for [STI], [SYMPTOMS POINT TO SA], refused all offers of help, released into Dad’s not-surprised-enough custody. Trinity hadn’t even been in the room, hadn’t been there, she might have…she could have…she would have…
“Yeah,” Trinity says shortly, swallowing the burst of sudden nausea, turning away again. “I mean, no, but…but yeah.”
“It’ll be alright,” Princess says, reaching out and rubbing a single circle into Trinity’s back, light as if she were petting a feral cat. Trinity closes her eyes, her throat thick.
Trinity was already pre-med when she found out, already knew she wanted to be a doctor and that nothing on this earth would stop her; vamp slaying didn’t really change that. And Emergency Medicine had fit so perfectly it had been like a stupid divine mandate, because now Trinity knows firsthand what to look for, how to help save the bite victims and trace their whereabouts so she can go full Bruce Lee on a den of monsters.
And hey, if she catches a few human baddies, if she finds that some monsters just happen to wear human skin? Well. Langdon inadvertently taught her a few things in their brief, shitty time together. How no one fucking notices if meds go missing, especially if they’re not benzos or opioids. That sometimes, sometimes, bending the rules isn’t the worst thing. That maybe there’s some wiggle room in right and wrong, that taking things into your strong, capable hands can save more people than being a good little girl angling for gold stars.
How to cover her tracks, how to keep her Doctor hands clean and her Slayer hands bloody and dirty, aching and triumphant.
I should thank him, Trinity thinks distantly, and the thought makes her crack a tiny, private smile.
“Night,” Trinity says, glancing back at Princess with as much gratitude as she can muster, and Princess waves her off gently.
Pulling out her phone, Trinity texts Helena as she shoulders her way out the door.
Patrolling. Meet up in a few hours for debrief?
The cool October air whooshes down her sleeves and the back of her shirt when she steps outside, and Trinity zips her hoodie up one handed. She swings her backpack over her shoulder, pulling out a stake and sliding it half up her sleeve, the warm wood curving against her palm like she was born to do this.
Which, depending on how you slice it, she maybe was.
Helena Watcher
Excellent. See you in a few hours at Rosewater. Good hunting.
Trinity grins, sharp and shining. She’ll bag some vamps, of course. As many as she can hunt down. No problem at all with the whole Save The World From Monsters mission, she’s on board completely. Just one quick stop -- a glance at the patient file, Trinity’s pristine memorization ability burning the address into her mind -- and then it’s Slayer hunt, Slayer find, Slayer kill kill kill.
But Trinity will be dead in the cold hard ground before she fails Tara again.
See you soon, Daddy.
if you're interested in non lawrusso prompts: sam and johnny + awkward bonding <3
ooooooh i am SO interested let's do it! post-series little backyard bbq bonding between my two favs <3
Sam doesn't really get it at first. It's not just that Miyagi-Do and its whole ethos has been beaten into her brain since birth, or that she's grown up hearing horror stories of what Johnny Lawrence and the Cobras did to her dad (though neither of those things helped). After watching Miguel fight, after watching Aisha transform, and after getting her own ass kicked by Tory, the Cobra Kai style is sort of undeniable. In fact, as much as she disagrees with it, Cobra Kai she gets.
It's Johnny she doesn't understand.
He's currently leaning over her dad's shoulder trying to coach him through grilling a burger which is laughable because Johnny looks like the kinda guy who likes his meat with literal char on it while her dad is probably the best amateur chef in the Valley. (Biased? Maybe. But anyone who questions her clearly hasn't tasted her dad's lasagna.) He's got a beer in one hand, the other gripping her dad's shoulder, and even though the drama of high school is behind them — behind all of them, including the drama of Sam's own high school career — it still feels weird to see them so close without punching each other.
"What do you think they talk about?" she asks.
Miguel shrugs, mouth around his burger. "I dunno. Karate? The 80s? Babes?" Sam grimaces, that all sounds about right. "All of the above? Look, I know you've got your hang ups about Sensei but he's a good guy. Really funny, even when he's not trying to be. Especially when he's not trying to be, actually."
"I don't doubt that Johnny's a good guy, Miguel." And she doesn't! Hell, she doesn't even doubt that he's a good teacher! A weird teacher. He did make her jump off a building that one time. (And it was amazing and she felt like she was flying and she felt untouchable and the thrill of it all made her feel like she could accomplish anything and and and.)
"I'm just saying, try to get to know the guy. If your dad can do it, you can too."
No one would accuse Johnny Lawrence of being a mind reader or even having the ability to like, read a room essentially, but he does choose that moment to cross the backyard and take a seat right next across from Sam and Miguel.
"Burger's good?" Johnny asks. Miguel nods and takes another bite like he's proving a point.
Miguel looks between Sam and Johnny and Sam can knows exactly what he's about to do it before he even does it (maybe she's the mind reader here). "I'm gonna grab another one, actually. I'll grab you a beer, Sensei! Hang here."
So. That just leaves Sam and Johnny. Cool. Great.
Johnny drums his fingers on the table of the patio set awkwardly, eyes dancing between the table, his seat, the grass, and the house behind Sam's head, pointedly trying to look at anything but Sam.
Jesus.
"So uh —"
"How was Okinawa?" Johnny asks (and thank god because Sam doesn't know what she was gonna say. Because it's different when they're in a dojo, it's different when Miguel or Robby are around, it's different when it's just the two of them and no karate is involved.)
Sam relaxes a little in her chair. "It was great, actually. Really beautiful. I had always heard stories about it from my dad and Mr. Miyagi growing up so it felt...I don't know, like going home? In a sense?"
Johnny nods like he gets it but Sam doubts he does.
"What was he like?" he asks.
Sam's brows furrow. "Who?"
"Mr. Miyagi." He's looking straight at her now, no quick glances or fast movements. His eyes are the color of the sky, clear blue and focused and so soft. Sam's never seen him so open before.
"My dad hasn't talked about him enough?" Sam jokes.
Johnny smiles and it feels like a secret, something just for her. "No, your dad talks about him plenty. And I mean, I met the guy. He saved my life, you know? That night in '84. Sure your dad must have told you that."
Yeah, Sam knows about that night in '84. But not from her dad. Well, not directly. She had overheard him one night, talking in clipped, harsh whispers to her mom over a bottle of wine. Back when karate in the valley was all anyone could focus on.
"Yeah," Sam says, solemnly. She shakes her head free of the images she's never seen: Johnny in a headlock thrashing against the pavement. She thinks of happier times, of an old face with the most infectious smile.
"Mr. Miyagi was, well...I don't know how to do him justice in describing him. He was so different from anyone I've ever known. He could be really quiet sometimes. Actually, he was quiet a lot. And our house was constantly filled with noise, especially after Anthony was born that I used to love when we'd go to his house and the world finally seemed a little calmer."
She laughs a litle, a soft dance of memories playing like a carousel in her mind.
"He was funny," she continues. "And stubborn. Like, more stubborn than my dad if you can believe it."
Johnny smiles. "I can't imagine anyone more stubborn than your dad."
"I think that's where he gets it from, honestly. Like this one time, he was working in the garden and he pulled this weed that was really stuck in there way too hard and we literally heard his back pop from across the yard! Just, pop! And Dad rushed over to him and was trying so hard to convince him to go lie down but he absolutely refused until the whole garden was done!"
It's a stupid little memory but it still makes her smile, as all memories of Mr. Miyagi do. "I never really saw him angry, but I knew he could be," she continues. "He had this way about him where he could be so light hearted and free but still take things seriously and treat them with reverence."
"Balance," Johnny says.
Sam stops. She looks at Johnny, really looks at him. There's no hint of sarcasm in his voice, no mocking judgment on his face. He's not the same guy who drew a dick on his dad's billboard. And yet he's still the same guy who let her hide out her drunken night in his apartment. He hasn't so much as changed as he's evolved, maybe.
"Yeah," she says. "Balance."
They're still grinning softly at each other by the time Miguel comes back with Johnny's beer (and an extra burger for Sam).

A crossover ship I’d dig: I quite simply think that MM and Allison can and should kiss.
A crossover BroTP I’d dig: Look look look Frenchie and Kimiko would fit RIGHT FUCKING IN with the Hargreeves okay this is just a blanket statement them witth EVERYONE.
A crossover Frenemies I think would be inevitable: Ooh. I mean it's gotta be Five and Butcher, they'd work together but not be able to trust each other that much and I think it would just be very interesting.
A crossover badass duo I think would be inevitable: God like? Any of them lmao? But maybe Noir + Lila, idk it's popped into my head and I feel like Lila would unironically love him and think the dude is a fucking delight and just fight with him lmaooo. Or Annie and Viktor, I think they'd have a grand old time beating people up.
A crossover animosity I think would be inevitable: I mean i's gotta be all of them with Homelander right lmaoooo. Allison rumors him to punch himself in the face <3 ALSO. Five sees Hughie's teleportation powers and is like "absolutely fucking not <3" he basically takes it personally that Hughie is naked every time he teleports asdjfkl
Look I had no idea where to put this but. I just need it to be known. The Deep sees Ben's powers and he is. IMMEDIATELY intrigued. Dude can talk to whatever tentacle monster is inside Ben and by god does he want to bang it.
The whole time dean is winning the gold in biphobic mental gymnastics Cas like actually this all tracks completely. I don’t know what your problem is Sam.
cas, holding dean’s hand: he’s bisexual and biphobic sam. what don’t you understand
