Aitana kept her secrets close to her chest, who didnāt? It simply made her feel better to know people saw her as an innocent, someone who was pure and naive. People were less likely to judge her that way, even if they often found her ignorant of the world. If she blushed at the mention of sex, people would laugh but they would leave it at that and not argue with her too much on why. That was why, when Hodge saw her the night before, she had no idea what to think. They had known each other for a while, she would certainly consider them friends, but she had never expected having to explain to a friend why she had been pressed against a brick wall behind a club, her skirt pushed up by her hips and the guy sheād been dancing with minutes earlier pounding into her. Aitana had no idea if heād been at the club or if heād just been walking by but she needed to know. She needed to know how much he had seen, if it had just been in passing or if heād been there longer than sheād realizing, not that it really matter. There wasnāt much of a way to come back from that.Ā
With a text sent to request meeting up for coffee, Aitana had no choice but to try and relax. As long as he didnāt tell anyone she could keep up her image and truly that was what mattered to her. If he made it known to everyone what had happened, then that would be a problem. There wasnāt any way to damage control this, she knew that, but she could at least ask him to keep er proclivities private. Thus, when he approached the table sheād claimed, she smiled, hoping to act as if nothing had happened.Ā āHey! Iām glad you showed up. I already ordered your coffee. How are you?ā Aitana kept her smile bright, hoping to keep control of the tenuous situation.Ā
