an  ak  rests  between  her  legs  as  she  sits  ,  hunched  over  and  staring  at  the  floor  ,  after  a  moment  ,  head  raises  &  she  looks  to  kara  slowly  .                ❛❛     you  can  stay  here  for  as  long  as  you  need  .    ❜❜                or  as  long  as  they  may  want  ;  they  can  always  use  more    bodies    (  even  if  so  many  of  them  end  up  atop  piles  in  a  filthy  garbage  heap  )  .  it  goes  against  her  better  instincts  ,  but  she  looks  to  the  --  little  one  ,  crouched  behind  kara’s  leg  ,  a  soft  breath  passes  her  lips  as  a  sardonic  amusement  flutters  in  tired  eyes  .                ❛❛     is  she  yours  ?    ❜❜                or  are  you  hers  ?

          before  deviancy,   frances  never  felt  lazy,   never  felt  tired.   she  was  always  up  and  at  ‘em,   ready  to  do  whatever  was  needed  of  her  all  day.   now  that  she  doesn’ t  have  a  large  family  to  take  care  of  day  in  and  day  out,   though,   so  now  she’ s  allowed  to  feel  lazy  every  once  in  a  while.   though,   she  tries  to  limit  herself  to  one  lazy  day  a  week.   and  today  just  so  happens  to  be  that  day.   somehow,   she’ s  managed  to  convince  kara  to  join  her.   it  seems  to  frances  that,   for  a  long  while  now,   kara’ s  been  in  desperate  need  for  a  day  like  this,   whether  she’ ll  admit  it  or  not.   with  some  gentle  coaxing,   frances  has  gotten  kara  to  snuggle  up  next  to  her  and  just  enjoy  some  peace  and  quiet.   after  a  while,   she  turns  her  head  a  bit  to  get  a  good  look  at  the  other  girl’ s  face,   breaks  out  into  a  crooked  little  grin.   she  reaches  up,   turns  kara’ s  head  towards  her,   leans  forward  to  press  a  kiss  to  her  lips  with  no  real  effort.   “so.   how’ s  this  lazy  day  treatin’  you  so  far?”   frances  asks  quietly,   brushes  a  few  loose  curls  out  of  her  face.

                                   luther fumbles  &&  does not know immediately how to solve the problems they now face,  but he will try.  he will try.                                                    ❛  there is at least fire.  warmth,  for a night.  ❜

               TENSE  ↓lips  press  together  in  a  hard  line  ;  rk100  eyes  flutter  shut  as  arms  cross  over  her  chest  –  an  exhalation  of  breath  ,  ava  peers  towards  the  other  with  a  practiced  (  false  )  neutrality  .            ❛❛    then  let’s  just  hope  it  changes  along  with  me  .    ❜❜                some  of  us  just  want  to  be  left  alone  .

          THERE  ARE  TIMES  WHEN  ALICE’S  PROGRAMMING  WILL  HAUNT  HER .   she  is  to  simulate  the  actions  of  a  child ,  even  at  her  own  expense .   she  touches  kara’s  arm  with  a  trembling  hand ,  her  mimicry  of  sleep  disturbed .   ‘   i - i ...  had  a  nightmare ,  kara .   ’          ///          @dvintmthr  LIKED .

   He messed up. He knew he head. The mission was the only thing that had mattered to him, and it had been so stupid of him. Chasing her and the child was one of the things he had great regret for- they just wanted to be free. Putting them in that kind of danger was.. Terrifying to him now. It was so stubborn of him to not see that deviants were good- that hey were just people that wanted to be free.
