From the balcony, the small white line near the ridge of Eagle Mtn is the high point of the up & down-out & back portion of #DV50. KM 35 and 39 at the cell tower here. . Looks as tho the clouds are building over it and the rest of the course; let it rain now if it’s going to, I say. . Saturday’s forecast tho is now looking better the closer we get to it. Rain all day Friday and it tapers off altogether rather conveniently during the 50k race. . Rain is set to return in the evening (sorry 100km’ers), but at least it’s not looking like last year’s monsoon weather is making a return. . Fully preparing for the worst as anything can happen in the mountains, but super stoked to see mostly cloudy (and some sun!) forecasted for Sat. .
