I've been to dutchbros with my friends except they're the drivers and they just merge in without any issues. So, when I first started to go to Dutchbros, I just do a zig zag by letting 1 car in. I do this every couple of months since I don't go there but I've always had a positive experience. And if the other person isn't pulling in, I pull in instead.

Today, the barista told me to merge with the black car next to me. I say oki sounds good. I've been there before the black car but I figured I should let the black car merge. But they weren't merging or looking at me.

So, I start thinking, "Maybe the Barista meant merge in front?..."

And so, I slowly merge in front. Waiting for somebody to honk or look at me weird. Nothing's happening.

I pressed my breaks and waited. The black car just follows behind, blowing smoke.

I checked my rear view mirrors and then the same barista 2 cars down gave me the dirtiest look known to mankind cuz she's probably like, "I just told this fucking bitch." And that's when I realized "I FUCKED UP OML"

I felt so much embarrassment. I saw her go back inside the shop and I was too scared to look. Once I was 100% sure I accidentally cut in line and she probably has to tell the others that my order is next or smth, I felt so bad. I got to the window, nobody is looking. I just knew it was cuz I messed up their order queue and when the male barista turns to look at me, he looked really confused. I told him "I'm so sorry I think I might of accidentally cut in line." and he widen his eyes like, "YOU CUT?!!" And I was so deadass embarrassed, bruh. And so I profusely apologized. "I'm so sorry. I don't know- I don't know what happened honestly. I'm sorry." And he just asked, "... What did you order again?" I told him my drink and he just hands it to me and I thanked him.
