Jealousy isn't something he experiences often. At least, not anymore. Even if he wanted to feel envious of those who are better of, he knows that he doesn't deserve the luxury of feeling such an emotion. The Jinchuuriki has burned that bridge, along with any others that pertain to him becoming bitter over the choices he has made. Avaricious or desirous is experienced, but hardly ever is envy taken up--it's undeserving and beneath him to feel.

He realizes how irritating he can be, at times. So as shocking as it is, the Jinchuuriki is actually holding back when meeting strangers. Because for some reason, most folk don't take too kindly to his spontaneous joy or the lack of composure. And really, the better half of him doesn't wish to make people so uncomfortable the point of them loosing interest him--after all, that would make the point of meeting them entirely moot. But if the other party gives even a hint of liking him? All bets are off and the Shinobi puts the cheer into over-drive. Because he just loves making new friends.
