“Pst. Psst. Norman.”

The projectionist turned his head to the sound of Sammy’s voice. It had been very long since he had seen him, but his hearing was as intact as ever. If he had lips (or a mouth) he would have smiled.

“Right here,” he replied, his words crackling from the speaker strapped to his chest. The prophet took his outstretched hand. “What is it, Sammy?”

“Come with me.”

Norman was pulled into a room, and he heard Sammy close the door behind themselves. 

“What’s all this about?” he asked with a teasing tone. Sammy pushed him to a corner - quite a feat, and only one that was accomplished because Norman was allowing him. “Sammy?”

A tingling feeling spread over his speaker, and he realized - oh.

Sammy was kissing him.
