I don’t think I’ve seen them all holding her back like that in awhile but I get it, the in-law is a trigger for a lot of things and she’s just not about it.

I’m waiting for the day we slip up in therapy and she catches it and we have to explain that there’s 25 of us chilling in one brain/body. There’s been a few times when we’re trying to describe or explain something and it sounds very plural or, we constantly mention like an internal fight, or internal ____. There’s been hints/signs that we’ll catch after it’s been said and it’s like “oh great now she’s gonna bring it up next session” but she never does.
I think the reason we don’t say anything IRL is because 1) all the trauma we have, 2) I don’t know if we’d even be able to describe it properly or in a way that makes sense to someone else without it seeming crazy.
