What pisses me off is when i'm doing my makeup, and i mostly do bold eyes and a bit of blush, cuz i like it bold, yk? and someone, usually my mom or my bestie who HATES the feeling of makeup, says "ohhh you don't need to wear makeup!! you're so pretty, there's nothing wrong with your face!"

I don't need to feel "ugly" to wear makeup. "Ugly" is a concept made by middle aged marketing executives in the 1950's to make women feel bad about themselves. You're allowed to not like things about yourself, and that's okay! I have things that i don't like about myself, but i accept them and just. move on!
