Here’s a creature for Librum Prodigiosum ! The Dunnie, from British mythology! Specifically tales come from Scotland and Northern England- it can appear in a field as a handsome plough-horse who disappears once the farmer has let it in the stalls! Thus these creatures are considered pranksters by some!

The Dunnie is a bogey beast from the folklore of Scotland and Northern England, in particular Northumberland. It appears as a handsome horse, enticing people into riding it before vanishing on the muddiest part of the road.
The Dunnie will also sometimes appear as a plough-horse, disappearing when a ploughman takes it into the stalls. Though it has similar habits to water horses like the nuggle, it is not associated with bodies of water.
