I had to do a double take at the dinner scene in episode 8. With the lighting, the positions of the actors, and the camera angles, I thought, for one wild moment, that Tom had his arm around the back of Mary's chair in the dinner scene.

I have a plot bunny. It's more like the Killer Bunny of Caerbannog, actually.

Thinking about the way Mary Bennet, frustrated with tears, says “I love you. I have only ever loved you” to Tom Hayward and him exhaling “I LOVE YOU” with a full lung’s worth of breath as if Caroline Bingley‘s letter didn’t tell him everything he should have known/assumed lol
