My fourth year of TiP was in June of 2017. It is unbelievable how much I miss it and all of my friends from camp. You never really think about all the little things that will make you think of camp but everything from a pair of shoes, to a weird saying strikes a familiar note.

TiP taught me who I am in my purest sense. I learned all of my passions from it. I learned of a rich history of others like me as well. My role models were formed, my interests solidified. What I learned from TiP was more valuable to me than anything I learned in school. In a little more than a year I will be an RC. It’s crazy to think not only will I be back but I will be helping all of the tipsters out there grow.

To all past tipsters: Man do I feel your pain. You have to put all your stories on TiPwiki so the youngins can revel in them and that way the past doesn’t die.

To all current and future tipsters: Don’t let a moment go to waste. Spend every moment of your time with you friends, dance at the dances like no one is watching, perform in the talent show, eat all the food, raise your hand in discussions, and stay up past lights out and bond with your roommate, fucking wreck the jello snarfle, get everyone’s number, embrace differences, and win first place in TiPsync. The most important thing though is to never say goodbye, because TiP and the people you meet will always be a part of you.
