Yu-Gi-Oh boys w/ a S/o that has ADHD

Yugi Muto

He is the definition of the best boyfriend

Doesn’t matter what’s going on; verbally and physically he’s there for you

You forget a lot? Don’t worry he remembered. Oh you have trouble sleeping and have a lot of stuff on your mind? Tell him, he wanted to stay up to do some stuff anyways. You have trouble concentrating and get sudden mood changes? It’s ok talk to him about it, he’ll understand

He understands that he’s not your parent and that he’s your partner so he will never lecture you about doing something wrong or just do everything by himself

I can’t stress this enough but communication is so big with him

He wants to know how your feeling and wants you to know the same

There have been a couple times where he asks advice from Yami however he soon realized that Yami doesn’t understand ADHD at all so he mostly relies of google now

If your in public and start talking a lot because of nerves of are just nervous then he’ll subtly reach to grab your hand

However if your not a fan of physical touch then he’ll give you looks of reassurance and whisper word of affection into your ear

The best boyfriend award immediately goes to him

Yami Yugi

This poor boy oh my lord-

I’m just going to say it, he has no idea what to do

I mean in his defense he was trapped inside of a puzzle and before that he was living in Egypt as the Pharaoh before being weird or an outcast was ok

Its like teaching someone from the 1600s that just because someone is a women doesn’t mean that they are a witch y’know?

He tries his best but sometimes trying isn’t good enough I mean he’s still trying to figure out how to use a phone

He does have his moments though

While he doesn’t understand how to communicate that well, he will always be there for you physically

Your having a tough day? So is he, you wanna cuddle while watching a cute tv show, I mean he’s down if you’re down

If you don’t want to cuddle being in the same room close to him is enough to make him happy

He will always listen to you. Doesn’t matter if it’s 1 am and you woke him up to tell him you had a dream about a talking jalapeño or being accepted into your dream college either way he’ll listen

He might not talk to you about it, but he notices everything that you do; the figeting, mumbling, playing with your hair, everything he notices

He remembers a lot so likely if you forgot something just ask him and he’ll tell you

He is awesome with time; just by looking at the sun he can tell what time it is which also means he always reminds you at the same time everyday to take your medication

He always tries to be subtle with this because he doesn’t want you to think that he’s trying to take control of you life

At any point if you think he’s to much you can just tell him and he’ll try to back off

Joey Wheeler

I fully believe this man has ADHD too-

We got two peas in a pot over here oh my lordy

Both of you literally forget everything; it not even funny how sad it is… jk it is

You’ll tell the other one to remember something then two seconds later they’ll forget

I mean it has ups and downs

On one hand he understands what your going through (even though he won’t admit to having ADHD) so if your up then chances are that he is up to

Not just to help you but instead his mind is really active and is just not tired

Like I said though, you both forget literally everything which gets really annoying at times and can start minor arguments but eventually you get through it together

You guys are an overreacting duo

You both get the other one fired up to add more fuel to the fire which far away is pretty funny… and close up too

You both suck at social cues yet one of you don’t realize it *cough* Joey *cough*

Joey definitely does random noises when the air feels awkward… making it more awkward

You to understand each other perfectly allowing no words to be said and yet you already know what your partner is thinking and the other way around

Duke Devlin

Imma be honest… I forgot a lot of stuff about him.. but I mean I remover he likes a dice game and was popular or something

He first saw you on his first day of school with you sitting in a desk crisscross while your other friends were standing in front of you

Live at first sight… for one of you

While he fell immediately, it took you a while to just get minor feelings for him

He would always love to hear you ramble on about your day (even though he was there for most of it) while walking you home

You guys live pretty close which he only noticed when he was stalking behind you one day—

That also means he was able to push himself into things that he wouldn’t have been able to had he live far away

He told your parents he was an adult so he could babysit you when they went on a week long trip

As soon as they left the house he was slapped on the back of his head and lectured from you and was told to go back home which he did, but he came back the next day

So you can only expect your parents reactions when they found out that you and him just started dating

You both were in trouble

It somehow got worse when you told them he was actually a month younger than you—

Duke didn’t know that you even had ADHD until 2 month after you guys started dating when you just randomly brought it into the conversation

Bro was baffled

“If I had the choice to choose between dying or just still having ADHD I would chose dying.”

“You have ADHD??”

“Uh… yes? Did you seriously not know this??

Yeah that caused some squabbling between you two

Once he found out he made sure not to treat you any different knowing it would piss you off and he would probably get annoyed with himself too

Seto Kaiba

This man has no empathy—

You forgot something? Sounds like a you problem. You’re feeling really burnt out? Well that’s too bad.

Don’t worry tho you atleast got Mokuba

Mokuba is the sweetest boy alive

He will get you anything you want in the whole world because he admires you almost if not more than Seto

Seto acts like he doesn’t care but really he does

He already knew a lot about people having ADHD but when you and him started dating he did some more just to be on the safe side

He’ll give you quick words of encouragement sometimes like saying things like “Good job” or “You did better than I expected.”

Even though he says that if you forget then it’s your problem, he remembers everything for you

Sure he’ll scold you but then just sigh and tell you what you forgot

If your angry then he’ll just let you be unless someone else is causing that rage then he’ll kick them out and act like nothing happened

Alone when he has time he’s pretty sweet and MIGHT cuddle you if you wanted

He makes sure not to treat you any differently just because you have ADHD

Why would he?

He’s really subtle about his affection; he doesn’t want anyone to know how you can make him weak in the knees

If you need medication but don’t have the money he’ll gladly pay it for you no matter how much you fight against it

Since you didn't specify who you wanted I just did all the boys just in case 💜

Yugi Muto

Honestly the first thing he wants to do is communicate with the spirit that shares a body with you.

Since you were unaware of the spirit he wanted to make sure they were safe to be around. With so many spirits from the past after him due to his connection with Atem he didn't want to take chances especially with his s/o.

Once he realizes the spirit wasn't malicious just mischievous he is more friendly and easy going with the thief. They would text their skills against each other, and he'll they would teach him a thing or two.

Yugi accepted it as another part of you to love even if he has to stop them from swiping cards from his grandfather's shop.

Yami/Atem

As soon as the spirit made itself know he knew who they were. His memory may be in shambles, but he could never forget his beloved little Thief.

During their first duel in forever it was constant lovers banter. Poking fun of how time has changed them, their hosts, and how their during has changed.

However once the duel was finished no matter who won or lose. He couldn't help but embrace them, and he couldn't have been happier.

Feeling their warmth, and that they were still there with him after so many years? There was no better feeling.

Joey Wheeler

First off how many damn spirits are there?! Second how come you weren't aware of yours like everyone else? It was like you were in a coma when your spirit took over, and that worried him.

So for awhile he was skeptical of your spirit. If you don't remember anything they do, and they were a thief how could he trust them??

However as time progress the more comfortable he is with them. They even explained to him that you sleeping wasn't something you intended. Your body just could handle the two of them being active at the same time. So you slept while they took over.

The two even became good buddies. Alway pulling good natured pranks, and constantly challenging each other to duels. However your still his number one so is she harms you he will do whatever he can to protect you.

Tristan Taylor

Due to his experiences with spirits he won't judge them based on their appearance, but their actions. He won't lie though knowing that your asleep while they run around doing whatever to your body makes him nervous.

Much like his friend he will come around to them once they prove that they aren't there to cause harm to you or him. They were just there to help set things right like they promised years ago.

Him and the spirit don't duel like they do with the others due to him not being big on it. However he does like watching them in action. Watching you control the field always makes him so proud.

The spirit helps him with his Cardio due to constantly being on the run they were able to give him a lot of helpful insight l, and he is now able to run marathons with much trouble.

Duke Devlin

Much like Joey he wants to know why there ao many damn spirits! He just got introduced to this concept, and now they are popping up every time he turns around!

Though he doesn't have complaints when it comes to your spirit because he is biased . They surprisingly get along very well! Always pulling some sort of prank on one another, him teaching them to play Dungeon Dice Monsters™️, and them just having a good time.

Whenever the duel someone he always excitedly watches cheering for the two of you even though it just the spirit.

Whenever you switch back he always make sure your doing okay or if you need anything. He may like your spirit, but are his top priority.

Seto Kiba

Son of-!

I won't sugar coat this one. At first he was less then pleased to know not only did you share this crazy past lives notion like Yugi, but your "spirit" is a thief?! However once he learns that this isn't some crazy notion he is more open to the spirit.

He doesn't care for her pranks or thievery, but he admires he dueling skills. Didn't seem like years 6 feet under didn't rot their brain after all.

It's always a competition when I comes to those two, but at least they are getting along while your gone....sorta....kinda.

Bakura Ryou

When you first passed out in front of him he freaked out! Getting you to a soft place to lay, and checking your head for injury. However while he was examining you the Spirit emerged scaring the boy making him pass out.

Once it was all sorted and he got to know them he didn't mind them too much. They were nicer then Yami, and they seemed to calm Yami down when he got overly upset.

He is big on pranks but he enjoys watching how much fun they have pulling off said prank. Even though it's not you he still enjoys the smile they make for you.

Since Bakura doesn't duel much they don't practice together, but he joys watching them play and unless Yugi and them are there he will cheer for them out loud.

Yami Bakura

He was wondering when they would make it back to him. Honestly it was the whole reason why he was okay with you maybe even got a little crush on you. You reminded him so much of them that he always hoped they would appear.

Once the two were reunited they continued the plan to take down the Pharoah. They honestly didn't care if it was the right thing or not. As long as Bakura wanted it they were determined to get it.

He would often use their thief skills to steal things that would give him the upper hand.

Despite all of this he knows without them he wouldn't be as far as is now. So when the two are alone he showers them in all the love and adoration he has bottled up.

Marik Ishtar

Due to his past with his own spirit he is afraid for the two of you when they first show up. He couldn't bare the thought of you having to go through the same mistreatment so he constantly questioned them till he knew they wouldn't hurt you.

Your nicer then his spirit, but he doesn't like them any better then the start. He just tolerates them since the two of you are inseparable.

He knows what goes on between you and his Yami, and tries to stop them from doing anything that would out you into harm. It doesn't always work though.

When you come back he is almost like a doting mother. Fussing over any bruise or sometimes nothing at all. You just mean so much to him and he wants to make sure your okay.

Yami Marik

Seeing his puppet come back to him like it was fates will had him almost giddy. As soon as he sees them his hand is on their forearm while his other holds their chin.

"Welcome home my Queen/King."

Much like Yami Bakura he will use their thievery skills to his advantage. After all a good wife/husband should always help their husband right?

Calling Them "Pretty Boy" (Before Dating)

I kinda wish you would have submitted this with your username, because I love you for giving me the power this one brings! The way I see it, there's three types: The Double Take, The Flustered and the Smug Pain In The Neck (I think you can tell which is which before these even get started). So, to kick things off:

Joey Wheeler: The Double Take

All right, so this guy is more street smart than book smart (but still smart, don't you simps come after me!)

Speaking of simps, that's what he is if he's crushing on you (more so if he's dating you, but we'll get to that later! Sksksks)

It was the end of class when you said it, but he was looking through his deck, having not heard the bell.

"Joey, time to go." Yugi tried getting his attention first to no avail.

"Come on, bud, class's over." Tristan tried next, but not even he was able to get Joey to snap out of it. That's when you decided to try something.

"Pretty Boy, let's go."

It took a split second, but his head shot up to look at you.

"Oh, you're callin' me pretty boy?"

"Duh... Wow, that came out quick."

This sounds familiar, right? Remember that "Pretty Boy, with me, I said" Tik Tok? That's you and Joey in this case.

Later on, he questions you on it and, upon realizing you like him, he asks you out.

A random beginning to a great relationship, but hey, he thought it was cute.

Tristan Taylor- The Flustered:

Okay, okay, I know I'm using season zero for this picture of him, but that's his exact reaction!

Just like Joey, it was the end of class, but this is a slightly different situation.

You and Tristan were falling behind the others, and since a fun day was planned you didn't want to miss it, least of all let Tristan miss it.

So, with a giggle and without thinking, you took his hand and tugged him. "Come on, pretty boy, let's go!"

Since your back was to him, you didn't see the blush that covered his face, only felt him gently squeezes your hand as he mumbled, "I'd go anywhere long as it was with you."

Too bad for Tristan, you heard him and stopped dead, turning around to face him with an identical blush on your face. "Really?" You asked. He nodded, holding your hand in both of his.

Let's just say this started the cutest relationship at the school, and it was a day neither of you would forget

Duke Devlin- The Smug

In your defense, he is infuriatingly attractive.

When you first met Duke, you didn't like him one bit

He was arrogant, to say the least, and the flirting winks he gave you just annoyed you.

But the final straw came when he not only put Joey in a dog suit, but accused Yugi of cheating

You're super protective of your friends, so the fact that he even thought of doing this angered you, so much so that you snapped in the middle of the game of Dungeons and Dice Monsters game.

"How do we know you're not the cheater here? Did you teach Pegasus all the rules beforehand? Or did you just let him figure them out like Yugi had to? Either way, this doesn't seem like a fair fight to me!"

"You're more than welcome to take his place if you want, goregous."

"You really wanna go toe to toe with me, pretty boy?" You asked without thinking.

Duke smirked at the fact that you called him pretty boy, but didn't acknowledge it. Don't let the facade fool you, he might be keeping cool on the outside, but he's freaking out that his crush called him pretty boy inside.

"Get your deck ready and we'll go at it as soon as I'm done with Yugi, beautiful." He replied.

You rolled your eyes, shuffling your deck as you watched.

Duke was a great gamer, but in the end, it wasn't enough.

Funnily enough, Duke became one of your friends, eventually turning into a Rivals to Friends to Lovers type deal when you got brave enough to ask him out months later

Duke may be a player, but he sure didn't play games when it came to your heart

Although, he did like to tease you about the first time you called him pretty boy 🤣

Like I said he isn't fan of the excessive pet names. He won't ever stop you from using them, but please be mindful of how often you use them.

Weird enough his is more fairytale themed. Something about the knigh and his prince/princess makes him giddy. He uses them only around you though.

"Prince/Princess" "Darling" and "My lady/lord" when joking or teasing.

He does it so often that you fall into the habit of calling him fairytale themed pet names. It oddly sometimes feel like your role playing, but that's okay.

He honestly much for pet names. He likes the sound of your name rolling of his lips more then pet names. Though he has been know to give a few simple ones.

"Love" "dear" are the only two that grace his vocabulary

He doesn't mind pet names, but he doesn't respond to them often. Not because he hates them but because he isn't use to it. So it will take him a bit to realize your talking to him.

He uses some of the sweetest cheesiest pet names you have ever heard. He just can't help especially when that blush he loves so much appears in your beautiful face.

He doesn't mind any pet name you give him as long as it's not mean. Poor boi would take I seriously and think your upset with him.

He only ever uses one. He never sees the need for silly pet names. So he sticks to one and don't try to argue with him on it.

You scared him a bit when you first met. You constantly held a glare, your demeanor seemed rough, and you just seemed ready to attack at any moment.

However, the more the two of you interacted the more he saw the softerside of you.

Always making food for everyone at lunch, helping with homework, and feeding the stray cats on your home.

On top of that all when Kiba came around calling everyone names you stood up for them, and even beat him in duel to prove your point.

He became less scared of you, and more in love. He loved the softer caring side of you, and the tough protective side of you.

Yami/Atem

He wasn't scared of you, but he was weary. Your intimidating auro made him wonder who's side you were really on, or if you would hurt his friends.

You changed his mind, when you took his place during a shadow realm match with Yami Bakura.

He watched you fight hard to protect his friends and himself, and that made him fight twice as hard to get you back from the realm.

After he made it his goal to get to know you better, and he was rewarded with the softerside of you. The side you try to hide. The sweet smiles when you see something cute, the soft coos to kittens, and the food you make with love.

Gods he was down bad now.

Joey Wheeler

He was never scared of you just slightly intimated. He has seen you stare down the biggest meanest bully in school, and scare the poor bastered away.

Though he knew you didn't hold malice to him and his friends, because he notice you glares soften when you saw them, or the longing stares thrown at them when they laugh and play Duel monsters.

So he invited you to hang out with them. Everyone was unsure at first startled by your appearance, but as you slowly started opening up to them they did the same.

You became of the protectors of the group, and he honestly loved it.

Tristan Taylor

Much like joey he wasnt scared by, just in his guard. He has heard the rumors of what you have done, and doesnt want the same to happen to his friends.

However, he later learned that his assumptions were wrong. Even if you seemed hostile didnt mean that you were.

While him and joey were goofing off somewhere, the local bully decided it was time for Yugi to get his just desserts and if it wasnt for the fact that you were there it would have happened.

Since then you've been apart of their little group helping him and joey protect the others from whatever the world threw out them.

It was your strength and love that one him over.

Duke Devlin

He would never admit it to anyone,but you didnt scare him when he met you. Everything about you seem hostile and he didnt want anything to do with it.

Fate is a funny thing though, as you walked into his shop mid robbery. When you first walked in he didnt if he wanted you to run and get authorities or scare the guy off.

He didnt have time to decided before you already disarmed the man, and scared him out of the shop. Placing the weapon on the counter you continued your shopping without a word.

It was awkward at first, but the two of became really close friends. He helped you improve in dungeon dice monsters, and in return you helped around the shop.

Though he could feel something more growing.

Seto Kaiba

He was never scared of you, but his little brother was so he kept you as far from him as possible.

However they were soon changing their song and dance when your protected Mokuba.

Another group was trying to kidnap the young Kiba for leverage against the young CEO. Unfortunately for them you were nearby at the time and was quick to protect him.

Afterwards not only were you voluntold to become some sort of bodyguard for mokuba, but they were the only one whoever saw your soft side.

You became a soft, but rough older sister to mokuba. While to Seto you became more then a friend. Not that he will ever admit it.

Bakura Ryou

He was a mix of fear and curiosity. You seemed as intimidating as his Yami, yet you didn't do anything mean or evil?? It was quite perplexing to him.

So he took it upon on himself to get to know you better. He would constantly hang around you, or trying to talk to you more.

Oddly enough you were able to keep his Yami in check when he made unexpected visits.

Over time he got to see a side of you that surprised him. The soft caring side is what really drew him in. It was a side you kept well protected, and he wanted to help you protect such a precious side.

Yami Bakura

He was never afraid of you, in fact he saw you a valuable pawn. If everyone was weary of you that would leave you isolated, and thus perfect for him to take advantage.

You became a sort of spy for him, while he wasn't the the host of Bakura's body you would observe everyone, then report to him later that night.

You spent a lot time together, and he slowly found himself having a soft spot for you. So he would send you to do less dangerous things.

Maybe he was the one who has been isolated for so long...

Marik Ishtar

Being a retainer of his family was never easy, hell being in his family wasn't easy. However your tough exterior made it slightly easier.

Enemies wouldn't come near the young Ishtar, and if they tried you were ready for anything.

And while that's what everyone saw Marik saw something else. He saw the soft looks you gave him when you helped him recover, the smiled you would give him giving him his food, and the way you turned a blind eye when him and his sister went outside.

He came to adore your softside and wanted nothing more then to see it everyday. So he kept you by his side. As a retainer, and hopefully wife.

Yami Marik

He is a mixture of Yami Bakura and Marik. He sees you as a very useful pawn, but he also took notice of your soft side.

At first he used it against you. He would hold the well being of Marik over your head to allow him to get away with much.

However aterawhile that died down. He would still use you for tasks he couldn't do himself, but they were never dangerous. Just scouting really and you eventually opened up to him as well.
