And what else smells like Jasmine?
Then the darkness vanished.
I smelled jasmine first—then saw stars. A sea of stars flickering beyond glowing pillars of moonstone that framed the sweeping view of endless snowcapped mountains. “Welcome to the Night Court,” was all Rhys said. (ACOMAF Chp. 5)
There are repeated references to the scent of jasmine belonging to the Night Court. After all, it is a night blooming flower. So Elain’s scent of jasmine is a subtle nod to the fact that Elain considers herself a part of the Night Court.
