Dueno, the ancient, elf-like spirit residing within the powerful Sol Sword, emerges in a blinding light when the artifact is tapped into. Appearing as an aged and somewhat stocky being with pinkish skin, two visible pointy fangs, and pointed elf-like ears, Dueno supports himself upon a wooden stick. He wears a peculiar cloud-like hat that covers his eyes, a greenish-gold top, a red bottom, and simple brown shoes. Dueno also has a pink tail ending in a black, brush-like tuft, similar to a lion's. Initially grumpy and disinterested when awakened, Dueno becomes more engaged when curious questions from Firebox pique his interest, offering to lend his power through the Sol Sword whenever it is in use. Despite his dry, cranky humor and somewhat arrogant demeanor, often boasting about his past power and accomplishments, Dueno possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience that he is willing to share to an extent. As the spirit residing within the Sol Sword, Dueno is able to imbue the weapon with his own mystical power and aid those who wield it, though the full extent of his abilities remains to be seen.
