Working on the Double Date fic and it's coming along really nicely. I'm hoping to have to done by the end of the month, not sure how long it's going to be but with all the stuff I have planned I'm shooting for it to be the longest single work I've done so far! ^^

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to get my dad to rewatch the Mayhem with me. Honestly if he won't watch by the end of the month I'm going ahead and doing it myself so I can work on continuing season 2. I've got a few ideas I wanna rework/make happen. I also wanna redo my 5+1 fic series that I only posted one for. I'm proud of the first one and really wanna finish it because I've had some really funny ideas in it.

Anyway. I lowkey want to do more with the old Mayhem Movie Idea I had a while ago. As someone who wants to become a scriptwriter I think it'd be a neat challenge to write my own muppet movie. Who's to say something won't come of it. Stay tuned! Yayyyyy

Rereading my old drafts last night I think I might rewrite a few things. Although I do have to find my Mayhem season 2 doc because I know thats on my computer and not my phone. I might rewrite that for no other reason then to make it maybe a little longer and pace it a little better.

Although if anyone has any writing requests feel free to shoot them to my inbox. I'd accept anything muppet related despite my Mayhem bias.

I feel you there. I think that's what's been keeping me from writing recently is that, what happens when there are no other directions for them to go? It feels like funneling the characters in a specific direction... even when it's the decision you're most certain the characters would have made in the moment.

It's like, you're there with the characters as decisions are made. And then you step back and suddenly you're aware that the only decision being made is your own. And idk why but it sucks the adventure out of writing for me sometimes.

Interesting! Idk how much I can relate to this specifically, but yeah that feeling of "what happens when there are no other directions for them to go" definitely stuck out to me. Writing things down is how we communicate and share ideas, obviously, but it also cements them and closes down other possibilities. Not necessarily a bad thing because that's just... the nature of things, but it is an interesting dilemma to me.

I've put in all fandoms - which basically means all fandoms I'm familiar with. Most of my writing is in SPN, hq and knb, but off the top of my head I could imagine writing in YOI, BNHA, sherlock, run it by me and I can give it a red hot go.

I am so behind on everything... including replies to comments. But don't fret, I will get there.

It's been a hot, hot Feb, and I have to keep reminding myself that it's summer, and Feb is the generally the hottest month.

I never did a 2024 round up, but last year was so hard. This year, I hope will be better. I got a job app in today, and I have an interview later this week, so I feel like changes are on the horizon.

Although it felt like I didn't write much in 2024... I did more than I thought

we have the hq WIP I do love to share, which is AkaBoKuroo - yeah the chapter to go is the smut chapter of course (I am just struggling to get them feeling in the right place, but I am going to move this one up the to do list, cos it's a freaking gift!)

AkaKi continue the WIP list, with Bringing him home - and it's d/s verse which we all know I love and adore

omg I thought I had finished Koutarou's Last Solo Dance (BokuAkaKuroKen, omegaverse). it's that last smut chapter again. apparently I am good at the build up but not the deed

my Tobio (KagaHina) fic: to the setters I have loved. tbh I have had this idea floating around my head for years, and it was a true joy to get this one written

SPN strikes again... with my wincest (potentially maybe wincestiel) WIP Too Many Tardies, which is like a d/s world, set in the office. It's a spanking fic. It's a gift for a friend that was started Many Moons Ago...

omega pack is a hq fic that plays around with the MSBY omegas. I like all sorts of omegaverse dynamics.

lol! I forgot I still had a chapter to go on Mating Flight (an OsaBoku d/s verse fic). And yeah... it's the claiming chapter...

my beautiful friend died last year, and what better tribute than a Destiel fic - the ship be became friends over. We want the same thing after all was me playing in the SPN 'verse after a very long time

Divine Fucking Power is a Bo-centric fic that has been in my mind for a long time... I live in the tumblr dm's with my friend, inflicting random, unconnected DFP headcanons randomly on them! I posted two chapter of this.

Soooooooo.... 12 updates (the two chapters for DFP count as two). That is honestly better than I imagined! it's a nice range too. looks like d/s verse and omegaverse were prominent, but that what I like to write so it makes sense!

This year, writing wise... I just want to get some done! The comments on my WIPs are prodding at the muse, and the comments on my completed works are just bringing my so much joy! Someone has gone through and commented on the majority of my SPN fics and it was so amazing! So Amazing!

I want to get the WIPs worked on, I am putting up an auction for fandom trumps hate, and it's for any fandom which we both know, I have this hq/knb cross over fic that is just hovering at the edge of my mind and I want to get that done, and someone has shared a very fun dean-centric poly omegaverse prompt with me... so that is on the list too!

Basically... I want to get writing done this year :) feel free to prod me, ask questions, comment, share things you have written, or think that I should read, cos I am to be a better reader this year too.

Flash fiction competitions are so funny to me because you never have any idea what you're getting yourself into. Some are like "Oooo only 2,000 words! What a challenge! Which brave authors will step forward? Who will challenge the boundaries of what a story can be? Can you find beauty in the brief? Creativity in constraint?"

And then others are like "You get two sentences. Good luck assholes."
