I finally got around to doing this and--of course, I had to pick the saddest fucking song I could think of. But it means a lot to me and everytime I hear it, I think of what must of have going through Kylo’s mind during the bridge scene.

Sometimes limbs seem to move without intention, muscle memory, instinct, and the like. He’s not entirely certain just when it was he’d shifted from a predator with fury-written veins into something more... docile. But he had, and he opts to push the notion into the back of his mind, much like his current situation. Dust or debris, something of the sort, he’d only meant to nonchalantly brush it off of the other, not realizing the multitude of boundaries he’d have to cross. And when his hand lingered a little too long over the captain’s backside-- well, he plans on forgetting that too.
