We’ve seen how much Maxwell struggled with them. Shadows don’t use words the way we do—they speak through your mind. And to hear them, you have to open it. That’s the terrifying part.

And yeah... this is Cyclum version 02. Why? Honestly? I never planned to write a full story for one Urban legend =New home Wilson.

I’ve shown these two pages—where Wilson’s mind begins to open to the shadows—to a few people already, mostly because I’ve been experimenting with new visual effects. And everyone said the same thing: “This needs music.”

And they were right. Once I added a background track, the entire scene took on a new depth. The rhythm, the pulse, the intensity—it made it so much easier to feel what Wilson must have experienced. That moment when he first hears the shadows… it’s no longer just something you read. You live it.

So if you get a chance to read it, try it with this song. You’ll be surprised how much it changes the atmosphere.

It started as a silly little joke. But once I began, the story kind of took over. Suddenly it wasn’t just about pee jokes anymore (though those stayed, oops). It became... emotional. A bit tragic.

So I thought, if I’m going to tell this, I’ll start with something real. A moment of fear. A crack in the mind on the throne.

If there's a book for the nightmares, and it has a 'M' for Maxwell

Would there be a book for the Lunar moonbound with a 'W'? Like for Wilson?

(Hope this won't end up being two months of work… especially since it's just three pages. )

I recently started working on the new comic pages—the mood will be a little different compared to the previous, funnier pages. It will be closer to the first two pages, leaning towards a more serious tone.

I hope this shift won't be too distracting for anyone!

These scenes revolve around a conversation that immediately reminded me of the Don’t Starve Tales: Inevitable video. But there's a significant difference here:

Wilson is very stubborn and doesn't want to accept what's inside him.

He especially doesn’t want to become anything like Maxwell—

mainly because he doesn’t really like him.
