A simple monopitched form is punctuated by two courtyards that mediate between the internal rooms and the external context. The full height glazing gives the courtyards a distinctive character and heightens their gestural nature by contrast to the external facing solid masonry walls.
The geometrical brick forms punctuated by simple areas of metal glazing seem to be clear reference to the pavilions of Insel Hoimbrich by the sculptor Erwin Heerich.
