yEAH same! i was starting to get some mild pain with my gc2b binder, to the point where i was only wearing it to go out? but this one iâm able to wear way longer and more often without issues, pLUS the stimmy aspect i mentioned, itâs just all around working much better for me. :333
iâve had the gc2b one for over a year now so itâs possible that itâs just like. the new shapeshifters one just applies pressure in slightly different places than what may have been, idk, damaged over time by the gc2b one? (nothing against gc2b since no binding is 100% safe) but whatever the case i feel Really Good now AND itâs pretty ;u;

I was gonna say vinetooth half but then I remembered they have those whippy scorpion tails and that's a little too close to a sylvari-andalite for comfort

NGL Vinetooh are some of my faves and I wonât lie I looked at Faotoothsâ movements for some consideration (that and terragriffs but thatâs just because I love terragriffs) (also wtf sylvari-andalite would actually be really cool, so would a fern hound one omg I can feel my wallet screaming)
Honestly my plan was to merge a horse section of a centuar with a leg-less sylvari body kinda of like how that zombie plant ( Ophiocordyceps unilateralis) works, granted not quite to that extreme extent, and itâs probably be the pod being damaged, and somehow a corpse being introduced (I wanna set the character in Elona so I might have the pod become damaged in a courtier attack, the body damaged, pod drops into sea, floats to Elona, finds a discarded half of a centaur (cuz Awakened like using centuar bones), pod/vari unconsciously go ânutrients/this is mine nowâ and wallah, horse vari.
Would you consider answering 1 and 4 about your sylvari?

1) Are they woodier or leafier? Succulent, deciduous, evergreen?
Kienan:Â Woody, but like the soft, new branches kind of wood. Flexible and fairly smooth. Deciduous.
Naayeia: Petal-y actually! Bruises very easily. Perennial!
Islha:Â Combination of leafy and petal-y, smooth and soft to touch. Perennial.
Esthaeriel:Â Leafy, but pretty tough and weathered. Evergreen (everblue?)
Alaeteia:Â Woody, creaky, and strong. Evergreen.
Sayeuri:Â Leafy, flexible, smooth. Evergreen.
Raeysa:Â Leafy, but very tough. Deciduous.
Oriana:Â Woody, really stringy and tough. (Based on a manzanita). Evergreen.
Tiarnane:Â Petal-y, with an almost powdery-smooth texture. Perennial.
Daagni:Â Mostly woody, with leafier ends. Deciduous.
Liara:Â Leafy, fairly thick, soft leaves. Succulent.
Damara:Â Woody, fairly flexible. Deciduous.Â
Misrae:Â Woody, tough. Deciduous.
Aelidha:Â Leafy, perpetually warm. Evergreen.
Syaoraen:Â Woody. Deciduous.
Aonarha:Â Woody, somewhat dry and sickly. Deciduous.
Arawn:Â Woody, super tough and hard. Evergreen.
