i read mort and loved it! i haven’t gotten around to continuing the series though, mostly because i don’t read very often T__T but i’ll probably pick it up again soon
oh ok, cool :) I was thinking I’d recommended Mort, but then, I’ve re-read it since and didn’t like it as much as previous read-throughs. it’s still discworld, though, so it’s still great. if life ever gives you any breathing room, I recommend looking into one of the witches novels, I think you’d like them.

I think probably Lady Sybil. Or at least, I’d like to believe that of myself. I aspire to how sensible and good-hearted she is, I’ll say that. Also, I love Sam Vimes, we definitely have that in common.

I am terrible at questions like these because what if I choose a quotation and somewhere out there, there was a quotation that I actually liked a lot more, but just couldn’t remember it at the time. So I will qualify: this is one of my favourite quotes:
