Humans feel the need to understand their world, even things that do not belong to it.
For an example, my friend Druxl parked their vehicle in a clearing in the forest the other spherical turn, and there was this group of 1 adult humanoids and several smaller pre-humanoids there. The pre-humanoids decided they wanted to ascend to the top of the vehicle. The adult humanoid did nothing. They just observed.
Although Druxl didn't have to pay too much for the repairing, the pre-humanoids did leave some permanent markings.
