Chicken Fricassee -the conclusion See prior post to see where we left off. Drunken Egg Noodles What you need: 2 eggs 1 Tbsp melted butter 1/2 C milk ~2.5 C AP flour 1/4 tsp salt Red wine - it does not matter Whisk together eggs, butter, and milk. Add flour and knead lightly until some proximation of a dough forms. Move dough to counter and knead gently, adding flour as needed, until dough is soft and pliable. Divide into 1/4 and roll each quarter out into a long flat shape. Cut into strips with a pizza cutter. Toss with additional flour to prevent stickage. Bring enough wine to cook noodles to a boil with a pinch of salt. Add noodles for 3-4 minutes and remove. Finished Fricassee Move your marinates wine chicken directly into a 325 degree oven, pot and all. Cook for 2 hours. Remove from oven and take cooked chicken out of pot. Store chicken in loosely wrapped aluminum foil and put back in oven. Strain cooking liquid and reserve. Discard cooked vegetables and add the liquid back into the pot. Cook over high heat, reducing by about 1/3 or until sauce is desired consistency, adding previously cooked pearl onions and mushrooms for the last 10 minutes . Serve chicken and onions/mushrooms over drunken noodles with the sauce. Add dish to ridiculous table and have some tool take a picture of it.
