Hi guys! Long time no real post! Now, before I get to my nails, I thought I’d share the inspiration behind the latest design.Â
So, I mentioned that the reason it’s been so quiet is that I started my last year of grad school this past week. Oh man was it a week–– lots of new friends, a seemingly impossible amount of work to do, and a few disasters little problems. Needless to say, at the end of the week, my classmates and I were ready to cut loose. And we did. In magnificent fashion. Somewhere around 1:30 AM, when nobody could really stand anymore, we all decided to paint each other’s nails. Let me say, I’m usually great at drunk manicures, I have considered putting that on my resume but there comes a point where, no matter how hard you try, you’re just gonna get nail polish everywhere. That’s what this is. Drunk nails very artistically photographed on my sleeping friend’s butt.Â
Here’s the thing though, I thought they were actually pretty cool. Just blobs and swirls of color everywhere including people’s hands and my sweatpants. I wish I had pics of other people’s nails too. They were all super messy, but they were kind of amazing.Â
