#drunk mark

• it was saturday, which meant it was the day for marks business party

• they were celebrating their highest sales ever

• ever since mark joined the company their stocks skyrocketed(not that mark was keeping note)

• so, of course, everyone wanted to celebrate him in particular

• which meant many drinks that were bought for mark

• which meant he had to drink them all because mark couldn’t say no, they paid for them, and he didn’t want to waste their money

• even though everyone knew he was a light-weight, they still gave him a lot of drinks

• thankfully johnny had enough sense to cut him off after his eleventh drink

• mark was getting d r u n k

• “hyungggggggg~” he would call to johnny and then laugh right after like he made a joke

• mark also hadn’t stopped talking about donghyuck since his third drink

• “who even is donghyuck?” yuta, the HR rep asked

• which lead to ‘the donghyuck spiel’ from a very drunk mark

• he told them everything, from how they met, to how mark confessed, to how mark bruised donghyuck the first time they kissed

• johnny got marks phone, which wasn't that hard given marks state

• he wanted to get mark home but he didn’t know his address so he texted donghyuck

• “hi this is johnny from marks work. he’s pretty drunk,” to hyuckie

• “ah, classic mark. do you need me to get him?” from hyuckie

• “no, just give me his address so I can get a cab for him” to hyuckie

• donghyuck was waiting for mark outside their apartment complex, wrapped in marks hoodie

• he was lazily tapping his fingers against the wall he was leaning on, humming along to whatever song was in his head

• once he saw the cab pull up he rushed to marks side

• “donghyuckkkkk~ I was just talking about you, hehe”

• “yeah yeah, can you stand?”

• after 10 minutes and many stops due to marks head spinning, they made it to their shared apartment

• after donghyuck put mark in bed, he went to the bathroom to finish getting ready for bed

• he also went to get marks medicine he’d know he’d need in the morning or whenever his hangover called for him

• but once he started brushing his teeth, he felt two arms wrap around him, surprisingly strong for marks state

• “mark, go to bed” he said with a mouth full of toothpaste, so it came out muffled

• “mmm, no! hehe, I want to be with you” mark hugged him, chin resting on his shoulder

• donghyuck felt his face heat up from marks clinginess

• he looked up at mark through the mirror and saw his goofy smile shining right back at him

• “oh, hey! hyuck we match,” mark poked donghyucks beat red cheeks, similarly to the ones mark was sporting from the alcohol 

• both were from two different things

• “yah, let me brush my teeth I’ll be with you really quick,”

• “nooooo,” mark squeezed him again while burying his head in donghyucks neck, “I don’t wanna be away from you~ even for a second.”

• donghyuck sighed, but let him stay wrapped around him

• although he wouldn’t admit it, he loved when mark got clingy because it rarely happened

• once settled in bed, when mark snuggled into donghyuck even more, donghyuck finally chuckled

• “what’s funny hyuckie?”

• donghyuck looked down at mark, mark already staring at him

• he could see the trust in marks eyes, and that made donghyuck’s heart soar

• “I guess we really do match.”

So, this is really short and doesn’t match up to my full ability, but this was kind of a warmup because I’ve been out of the writing game for a couple months now. I really wanted to post to give you guys an idea of my writing, and the way I transform prompts. I plan to post a full markhyuck fic by the end of this week, I just need to finish editing it.
