unpopular opinion: gif makers that will make large gifs & don’t allow people to edit their gifs shouldn’t be allowed to complain that the rpc isn’t diverse. yes karen ur the owner of ur gifs but maybe if you allowed people to crop your 1000 gifs of zoe kravitz she would actually become a popular fc? just saying.
[cont] i don’t even mean like, cropping and posting the gifs, i mean even for personal use? a lot of people don’t have time to make gifs but they can crop them to use in rps and the rpc would be so much more diverse if the people making gifs for poc would either make them smaller or allow people to crop them themselves.

okay so i get this but i also think you can approach creators and discuss this u know what i mean?? we put a lot of time ( among other things ) into our gifs and i don't really think it's unreasonable to ask for proper recognition of that!
the only reason i would not want my gifs cropped and resized is because , as i have said from the beginning , i can’t see them when they’re small and have textures / psds on them. i want everyone to be able to see them and use them , everyone!! and i could also argue , why can you complain about no diversity when the size of the gif is more important than ur ability to use that fc? idk if that makes sense omg , but yeah just to kind of give u another perspective.
