A little rooftop solar instalation that reminds us that it was once summer here in Canada! Solar Edge optimizers were used to utilize their Maximum Power Point Technology (MPPT) and anti-islanding properties and even though it was a grid tied system to begin with a solar edge inverter was placed in the mechanical room ready for future @teslapowerwall There's a couple critical things to know when using this type of setup, the fact that you've got guaranteed power away from rising utility rates is not one of them. #drivingthecharge #whatdrivesyou

After one of my most recent posts regarding fossil fuel subsidies, at my @driveenergyinc page I came across this article highlighting subsidies within the industry worldwide. It makes me wonder where the solar, wind and other renewable industries would be if these subsidies existed at even just slightly more than 1/12th of fossil fuels sunsidies. Maybe it would level the playing field... maybe not. Decentralization of power is hugely beneficial regardless.
