Last year I didn’t actually even try to make the suit but this year is different! (she says to herself) 

so first thang first, I made a duct tape dummy of just my torso ‘cos I had NOOOO clue what to do. (and the creeper in the background is just my sister) 

I bought some EVA foam from Halfords (thank the fucking Gods) and the thickness is pretty good. + it was a great deal £10 for 6 interlocking pieces. Pretty large pieces as well.

I’m terrible with pattern making so ughh I ain’t sure with it. I’ll be cutting out the piece at an angle so it looks beveled. Will update again.

I think I’ll use the same method for a Commander Shepard n7 armor- well that is if all things go according to plan...
