Walk with me: Lando is with the team for years but when Oscar joins he is behaving like a child, not really talking to him and stuff (complicated because Lando is Oscar‘s first mechanic) because Oscar took Danny’s place and Lando still can’t stomach that Danny is gone. There is a lot of banter, insults hidden behind jokes and stuff while Oscar tries to figure Lando out, stays longer to help with the car and stuff. Slowly Lando warms up, they get closer and start to really trust each other. Add a little bit of yearning, slow burn (haha we all know me), a crash and a bit of anger and angst. Yeah sounds right.
