LAST WEEK: I was lucky enough to be given some really incredible things from my talented friends. Humbled man. Figure 1-2: Was in Columbus for work and met up with my people from @blackbirdenamelusa. They gave me a prototype version of their handmade in USA from American steel camp cup. Instead of being completely enameled, only the handle/inside/lip area are. The rest will slowly oxidize and become one of a kind over time. The only American made steel camp cup, these are great for coffee/chili/and bourbon according to my independent research. Figure 3-4-5: Stopped at the UAW hall in Lordstown on the way to Ytown to pick up some #driveithome signs. They also gave me those, plus a 50th anniversary Lordstown GM poster and a copy of what I hope isn’t the last Local 1112 newsletter. Un-unallocate the plant. Figure 6-7-8: Met up with @richiep_meche when I was in Weirton. He hooked me up with a Mon Valley Photo Works calendar, which is really solid, and a sticker for my lunchbox. Love me a good sticker, and the work he does documenting industry in the Monongahela Valley. Figure 9: I’ve actually had the US Steel Youngstown Works bottle opener plaque for a while but whatever, it’s dope and this is my post. That was from Alex Infante of the No. 14 mill. #therustjungle #steelvalley #monvalley #blackbirdenamel #driveithome #isupportalalli (at Youngstown, Ohio) https://www.instagram.com/therustjungle/p/Bu4HEEDnmlh/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=u7oema77tb5t
