            it wasn`t the first time he`d been bit by a canine, but it was never any less pleasant. michael emits a low whine as piercing pearly whites clamp down on his calloused hand. the beast is unlike any dog he`s ever known, but he`s hoping its jaw would snap like one. michael`s other hand wriggles, trying to grab at the PERNICIOUS pooch`s maw with throbbing fingers & a vice-like determination.

And yet.... her curiosity only grew.

This  is  for  Reaper  since  I  didn’t  really  speak  about  his  eyes  post  fall  .  They’re  bottomless  pits  if  you  stare  for  too  long  .  With  inky  black  sclerae  and  glowing  red  irises  .  Pupils  that  are  never  stable  ---  always  shrinking  or  widening  as  if  he’s  overwhelmed  by  things  you  cannot  see  .  Stare  for  too  long  and  it’s  almost  like  you’re  going  to  be  consumed  by  them  .  His  eyes  can  become  numerous  ---- -  ranging  from  two  to  six  ,  to  ten  .  He  doesn’t  blink  because  he  forgets  to  blink  .  Without  his  mask  ,  they  seem  to  follow  you  everywhere  and  rip  you  apart  .  Not  much  else  has  changed  ,  aside  from  number  and  gaze  .

It’s ... not a wolf, or not at least any sort of wolf that she’s ever seen -- and it’s HUGE, slick black against the treeline.   “  --- hello ? “  ( it’s INSTINCTUAL more than practical.  Maybe the wildlife grew curious about the castle, who can say? )
